Yes, Naruto can kick sasuk's ass at his current state. Also Tsunade, is mostly likely to bring him back and die in the process, so the next Hokage can be chosen.

2-People who said Naruto can use Sage mode think, but they forget, its imperfect in battle since Naruto has to use clones. How long do you think Naruto has in a battle to do that, and not get killed as you have to be still to collect the natural energy.

So he would have other option of mastering it, but i was mentioning Pa Frog getting killed. J-man needed him to fight using Senjutsu, but where does it say that Naruto can use it in battle freely without their help. Naruto planned ahead before and thats why he is keeping up with Pain, or else how much time do you think Naruto would have to collect natural energy.

3. Also who is to say that Itachi's gift is not just one off. I mean how can you transfer something like half-your power, and in what form. We saw the crow thing and therefore we can assume it to relate to Genjutsu, which is Naruto's greatest weakness in battle.

I just wanted to ask if there was a possiblities that Nagato would give him the Rinnegan or some of its abilities or at least train him?

As i pointed out he is nothing bad in the inside like wants to kill people inhumanely but wants peace in the end. He is like Tousen from Bleach, a misguided person.

Naruto has a strong chance of killing Nagato out of revenge for what he has done or he can forgive Nagato and make him see violence and pain is not the true path to peace.

Rinnegan needs a sucessor since if Nagato dies, the doujutsu would be gone forever that was passed down from the original founder of modern Ninja art.

It is possible Nagato might not get killed and Survive to reproduce with Konan but does it look like it.

If Nagato was to die Kishimoto has to pass it down to somebody else, even if that person is not Naruto.

All i was asking is Naruto a likely candidate since they are related in many ways in Naruto world except by blood.

-Same teacher (J-man)
-Destined Child
-Wants peace in the end, so people can live happily, although the road to it varies.

Eh despite the fact that the Rinnegan is basically the Doujutsu that created the ninja world doesn't mean it has to be passed down. Yes in this manga it has been a trend for things to be passed down but i think this is totally on a different level(btw its not like Naruto is Nagatos apprentice or anything, and even if he does see peace in Naruto, I would think Kishi would have Naruto use his own power to obtain peace for the world rather than using power from the child who was supposed to bring destruction upon everyone). From what we know so far the original(Rikudo) is dead, so IMO it would be a nice ending to the Rinnegan if Nagato died along with it, that way no one can abuse its power again.

The problem here is that Naruto's ideals are the same as Jiraiya. Jiraiya confronted Pain's crazy ideals and stated the wrongs in Nagato's plot. Even though Naruto can convince people better, Jiraiya had a better understanding of the world around him and was still unable to shake Nagato's will. Who is to say Naruto is able to?

The Rinnegan suddenly appearing within Nagato hints that its not a simple bloodline trait however, its something that comes along every so often, probably after years and years. The legend says its a tool of God that appears to guide the world to salvation or utterly destroy it. Its not something that can simply be passed on unto another.

Doubtful. If the beast is extracted from Naruto, he dies. That is the fate of all Host who looses their Bijuu. The Bijuu does not have to be removed from Naruto, its just a goal of Akatuski's. And they won't snatch out Naruto's Bijuu unless Killer Bee is captured because sealing the 9 tails within the statue will cause embalance and it will crumble. And its highly unlikely that Akatuski is able to keep Naruto in custody until they capture and seal Killer Bee, which could take days. It takes over a week to seal a Bijuu within a statue because they are so short of members.

Because Naruto is a survivor. He's not like the other hosts who where unprepared or lacked the support of his home village as well as hidden villages.

He does not need to fuse. Naruto has developed his shadow clone charge method. So he does not have to rely on the Toads for him to go into Sage Mode. Naruto can go into Sage Mode from a distance and have shadow clones left at Myobokuzan to mold Sage Chakra. Naruto has shown the ability to be able to stay in Sage Mode for a while, the two extra charges gives him even more time to stay in Sage Mode.

So, technically, Naruto has his initial burst (which has shown to last enough time to ditch out severe damage to his opponents), and two shadow clone charges, which one lasts him a good while. Who is to say Naruto can't match Sasuke with his Mangekyou Sharingan? I was under the impression that Sasuke's "That Jutsu" was Kirin. We have to remember that we have not see Naruto's "That Jutsu." Its more or less probably the jutsu correlating to the mastery of the Kyuubi's chakra via the "Key" unlocking all of the Kyuubi's chakra. So Naruto still has power left untapped.

Pain facies himself a God. He believes himself to be a ruler who passes judgement on those he deem unworthy. I'm sure its a lot easier to change a rouge then it is to change someone who has such a huge dominating essance.

Agreed. The man is fukn dilusional and unreasonable. I mean i kno naruto has the ability to change ppl and all that but this is a will be a failed attempt if he tries.

Naruto will never get the rinnegan. He will look wierd in it and it will jus mess up the whole fukn story. It makes no sense why kishi would do it. Naruto has enough power already so he doesn't need anymore, he jus needs to harness his abilities to their full potential.

2. I dont think the Rinnegan is passed down like a kekei genkai. At this point in the manga. Its more likey that nagato inherited Rikudos blood through experimentation from Madara most likely. Or, better yet The Fuuma Clan.
