In case we run out of topics...I agree with most of what you said; the styles and the challenges offered are what draw me to it. Along with that, I really enjoy the stories. I'm not exactly sure why. It's probably because of the fact that there are TONS of characters with their own interesting history that we're supposed to help'm out with. That, and maybe because there are like repeating characters/cameos in, like, every other game. (Tingle, Zoras, Gorons, and...yeah.) Being a sucker for symphonic music, I would say that the compositions leave a powerful impact on me, too. It fits with scenes so well. I really, really love video game music, especially Zelda music. There are probably other reasons, but these are the two that stick in my mind the most.

Personally, I'm excited as long as it's a Zelda game. I'm excited to see what kind of new (hopefully ORIGINAL) adventures the creators end up making. I'm sort of in a, hmm, an anticipated Pokemon fan feeling right know (that's the best way I can put it). It's like there's so many Pokemon already, I'm trying to figure out how in the world they make up like five hundred more. (Hyperbole.)

AWESOME NEWS.
Information about a Zelda title was just released! It's supposed to be a DS game, called "Spirit Tracks." Rather than being on a ship, Link is on a TRAIN this time! Didn't see that coming.

I reeeally hope this game isn't a carbon copy of phantom hourglass. If the main mode of travel is by land (train) then I'm expecting some more towns or areas inhabitted by different people. I'm starting to miss the interactivity and side quests that wind waker offered.

I'll end up getting ST anyway... there's no doubt.

Personally I didn't like Phantom Hourglass that much because I was pretty fed up with the whole Tetra=Zelda deal. And travelling by ship. I don't know, this seems like "classic" (not really classic, but actual) Zelda, not tomboy pirate Zelda. Like, it was okay once, but that's kind of why I wasn't too fond of PH...

I have a feeling that hopefully we will be seeing new people (new races?), since this will probably be in a different time period. :] Cel-shaded Zoras!?

Ahhhh, Wind Waker. I loved the little sidequests in Windfall Island the best. <333

If a different Zelda is cool, a different Link is definitely acceptable in my book. :] Plus I think it looks kind of cool. ;D

Interesting. This link has appeared in 4 zelda games already. Minish cap, WW, Phantom hour glass and now spirit tracks. I was hoping for one on the wii. Atleast windwaker 2 or something.

So what you guys think about the timeline now?

I kind of feel that ST will come before the Wind Waker era, mostly because...I don't know. If there are boats and waters and islands then there's no need for trains. :] Plus it looks like traditional Zelda. So, I don't know...maybe, perhaps, earlier?

The Wii has maybe 3 three more years of life left before moving on to a next-gen console. I have hope Nintendo will redeem themselves and give us, the core gamers, what we want from Ninetendo and enough of this Gardening Mama or whatever bullshit. I have faith a Wii exclusive Zelda epic is on its way soon or later.
