NHS 'pleasure' leaflets for kids

The aid, which is designed to be used by teachers to advise pupils as young as 13, also carries the slogan 'an orgasm a day keeps the doctor away'.

It claims youngsters 'have a right' to a fun sex life and that standard sex education places too much emphasis on negative aspects, such as diseases.
'It is designed to support professionals to speak to young people to ensure they are emotionally ready for sexual relationships and negotiate and practise safe sex when they feel they are ready,' said the leaflet's author, sexual health expert Steve Slack.

The 'Pleasure' leaflets have been distributed by NHS Sheffield, which consulted doctors, academics and religious groups on the content.

Teaching union NASUWT said its members might feel uncomfortable teaching the material. About 40,000 teenage girls fall pregnant every year in Britain-the highest level in Europe.

But the Department of Health supported the move, saying: 'Talking about sex openly is an important part of ensuring a healthy sex life.'

i'm just curious as to how teachers will "advise" their puberty stricken yr 8 class and whatnot-some teachers in my school/6thform college get nervous if they even hear the word sex

but some teachers could something raw like-"while your trying to solve this math problem, feel free to have a bit of a wank"

or having that slogan in big bold letters put up in each classroom...
