I've thought about different systems of government on a few occasions, and the best I can come up with is an oligarchy comprised of several people from different regions, who select their own successor from their own region, who would in turn have to be confirmed by the other members. No one would "run" for government, as those who are reluctant to take power are those least likely to abuse their power.
They would have to govern "from the shadows" to avoid being manipulated or the like. Of course, there's no guarantee that all the members wouldn't get themselves set up for kickbacks.

Obviously, the difficult part is people's dislike of any kind of government secrecy, and starting such a system in an established democracy.

Edit: I think the member of OH should start up our own PMC, conquer part of Australia/Asia and start our own country. Or use our vast sums of PMC money to conquer the moon.

like a fatass at work (he's kinda tall but fat )he's like 300 pounds or so and his like 20 or something like that... the doctor suggested him gastric bypass (the same doctor wus gonna perform the surgery) now this guy doesnt exercise at all and i dont think he tries any diets... he is perfectly healty(meaning no high blood pressure/cholesterol/no diabetes) So instead of suggesting him to exercise idk maybe give him some prescription drugs, to enhance his metabolism or for him to lose appetite... he tells him to go for surgery. cuz he has good insurance abviously..

What if the sly politician you voted for invaded a country under false pretences? What if he hired hap-hazard, answer-to-no-one mercenaries because your country was short on troops? You can be screwed over either way. At least the specialist/guy that knows shit is aware of how you're being screwed over.

Yeah, I think oligarchies are probably my favorite ones too. It has it's flaws, but so does everything else. Meh. And FUCK YEAH! fantastic idea @ edit.

And wut? Think about that for a second. You really think some fatass went to the doctor and asked "Hey, how should I go about dieting and exercising to lose this weight?" Or do you think he asked something like "What's the fastest/easiest way for me to lose weight?" Think hard. = /

And gastric bypass is probably the most reliable way for a dumbshit lazy fat fuck to lose weight (Which is exactly what that guy probably is. A healthy guy wouldn't go to a bariatric surgeon for weight loss advice. He'd go to a family doctor if he's kinda stupid, or a nutritionist/personal trainer or something). So it's not like the doctor was even giving out complete shit advice for his own personal gain there anyway. I know what you were trying to say, but it's just a horrible example on your part.

Also, speaking of fat fucks and dumbshits, my friend was over today and she was watching the Tyra Banks show. There was some fatass bitching about how much it sucks to be a fatass. And she said that she goes to McDonald's and orders a meal to eat there, then when she leaves she orders more food through the drive through so that she doesn't look like such a fatass in the restaurant. And Tyra was all like "Society is so horrible to force fat people to go to such extremes to avoid ridicule," and criticized the fatass's family for thinking the fatass should lose weight. Also, been playing Demon Soul's. Fucking awesome. Black Phantoms have been invading my realm a fuckload lately. I slaughter them effortlessly, of course. Recently I've been playing with my brother as a Blue Phantom buddy, and we've been fucking with douchebag BPs. Like, he'll invade. I'll be all like "Oh noez, BP, don't kill me" and run away from him. He'll chase me into a hallway or some shit. Then I'll turn around and block off the exit while my brother comes up from behind him and rams a massive Gutz size great sword into the BP's back. Then we'll both ram mother fucking scraping spears into him, and those things break all his armor and shit. He'll try to heal up and we'll let him so we can continue breaking his shit. Then my brother busts out the great sword and smacks him off the side of the cliff so he dies and loses a soul level while we lol heartily from above.

Then we go back to slaying some fucking demons and shit. Goddamn, so awesome.
