Wahhh... i've jst read the first 10 chapters and im starting to like it. yeah, Lucy looks very much like Ellie/Resha Valentine and Natsu looks jst like Haru Glory in Rave. Need to catch up its alraedy 156 Chap now. hmm.. 1 day = 10 chap, thts 2 weeks to catch up then, sigh lol

I'm reading it now and catching up, and holy shit is it good. And rave master was awesome, although at the time when I watched it I had no clue about mangas. But that's besides the point.

ya i agree fairy tail is better than rave................but rave is definately worth a read. Also there are a lot of similarities between rave and fairy tail characters, plue for example, and natsu is a lot like haru and lucy is like elie and so on

I'm already in the 135th chapter but ive stopped for now. this way more chapters will release and i wont have to w8 so much. mean while ive been readin rave

After having followed FairyTale through 50+ chapters of its manga in 2 days xP, I'm really starting to think that it is getting to be as awesome as Naruto but a lot wittier. The story and characters have gained a lot of depth just as Naruto did in its earlier chapters. I'm hopeful that this will continue to be so. =D Although, the title (from an "english language" POV) does sound a little bit strange but who cares, its a Japanese manga. The drawings also got better from the first chapter.

The interpretation of the manga by the Anime guys isn't that bad IMO either and I'm sure that it'll only improve. Can't wait of the next Anime to be out.

Btw, I just love that cat "happy" so much!

I read the manga first and i gotta say the anime does not meet it's standard but i like its goofiness

I still haven't watched the anime yet and I probably won't until it starts getting into the story a little bit. I watched bits and parts of it but never the full thing. Fairy Tail is a really good manga, it certainly has touched me more emotionally than Naruto or Bleach has and the action in it is epic. It reminds me more of DBZ action wise than naruto & bleach put together.

On another note, as many people have already stated, the anime really isn't on par with the manga although it is pretty decent, I think someday it'll probably be comparable to the manga in quality and feel since it seems to only get better with each episode that they make.

Couldn't agree more. All the episodes so far are great but as you mentioned it does have a different feel from the manga. There is only one or two things I could pick at from this anime series that could be better, changed, or they should simply remove but other than that its still good and if the manga's stories any indication for where the anime is going and that can only be good. I'm really excited about the manga and the character development of each of the main characters that is portrayed in it, I hope its just as good in the anime because this series can be comparble to that to Naruto and Bleach if not better (that is how I feel at least).

Rave is the shit & is better than Fairy Tale manga though that's just my opinion. The Anime is better as well(at least for now fairy tale is still new) though the anime never got a proper ending.
