I won't lie. That dog is adorable. What's her name?

And American Beauty is a good movie, but I've seen it. Doesn't look like Netfix has Sunlight. = /

Dog is win.

Movies: The Quiller Memorandom, Donnie Darko (director's cut), Life Is Beautiful, There Will Be Blood, Mr. Brooks, Gran Torino, Taken, Religulous, District 9 (if it's out), Gangs of New York, Boondock Saints, Saving Private Ryan, Underworld trilogy, Public Enemies, Hannibal series (except for the newest one, heard that's shit). To start.

Re: The Longest Thread Ever v28

bummer about the movies

well she's my mothers birthday present. i wanted her to be named something bad ass, but this is what my mother said "her name is sally, as in salvation. salvation is a precious gift and so is the puppy."

i think genevieve is more suitable
or roxanne, cause then i could sing to her

thanks thought guys, she's so tiny, she's smaller than our cats

district 9 was really good, but i don't think it's out yet... or Doug would have it already

Anything with Liam Neeson is a good movie. Hard Candy is lulzy loli.

Re: The Longest Thread Ever v28

Fuck yeah, LN! <3333

I'm not even going to look at the descriptions of any of those movies, and just rent all the ones on your list that I haven't seen already. Because based on the movies I have seen on your list, you definitely know your shit when it comes to kickass movies.

Edit: Aw, oh well. Just a name. Still an awesome dog. Especially like how it's ridiculously tiny and fluffy, as faggy as that sounds. =p

Star Trek was good? That's surprising. Hangover, never heard of but renting it anyway. Inglorious Bastards...Brad Pitt, right? He's pretty dreamy, so I'll look for it. Public Enemies...will rent unless it's about black people in da hood. And I'm not sure if they have any viking midget porn. But you're right, definitely should check for it.

Edit: Fuuuuck. None of those movies are out yet, except Star Trek. = (

And yeah, Public Enemies does like it could be decent.

Star Trek is considered a successful reboot of the series. It's kind of campy at times, but the action is decent.

Inglourious Basterds has some action in it, and it's all about killing Nazis, but it's a Quentin Tarentino film, so it's kind of different from most movies. And near the end, it gets all Circe-esque weird (best way to describe it), but whatever. Nazi killing and American patriotism.

Public Enemies is a mid-twentieth century gangster film. It has Johnny Depp and Christian Bale in it. Lots of shooting. Depp is badass in it.

And the Hangover is probably the funniest movie to come out in a while (that I've heard of, at least). Considered the best comedy this year, at any rate.

How could I forget Tarantino movies? Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs, and both Kill Bills. Iron Monkey was a good kung-fu movie. Hero (with Jet Li) is a great kung-fun movie.

Re: The Longest Thread Ever v28

Miyazaki films are really good. Princess Mononoke was the only awesomely violent one, though. Riddick trilogy is a good watch. The Rundown and Walking Tall are good.

Re: The Longest Thread Ever v28

princess mononoke was really good, i didn't mind the violence. the big bugs in Nausica kind of freaked me out though
i think Howl is by far the one that appeals to the general public (simpletons) the most
on a plus note, christian bale was the perfect voice actor for howl
i saw Ponyo. it was cute, but a little sloppy

Re: The Longest Thread Ever v28

Anatomy of a Murder is an excellent movie. Grab any Alfred Hitchcock movie. The Green Mile is another great one.

Wait...Riddick Trilogy? There's another one besides Pitch Black and that chronicles one? How did I not know about this?!

Also, fuck yeah awesome. Going through now and adding all this shit to my queue. Except the shit that I can watch through the PS3 with their magic PS3 movie disk that they're sending me.
