Well that was the case, when this FC was at it's peak there was alot of discussion and all that, but at the same time nothing was happening. So what happend was little by little everyone left. Now that there is some development on part of NaruHina And NaruSaku, no one is here to comment, though some come on by once in a while to post a one shot opinion.

If only we had some new members lol.

Maybe, but at this moment there is too much going on for them to really go into the whole relationship scene. That and the fact that almost every couple there has a crush on someone who has a crush on someone else, or just doesn't seem interested in dating.

The J-man always had women around him, or he was spying on them in the bath house, I want one of the younger characters to follow in his perverted footsteps. Fot instance, Ino is the typical teenage girl who cares about her hair and looks and'd been dieting since she was 12 (wtf? who diets when they're 12...) and yet I don't think she's even kissed a boy. Although over the timeskip I have no idea what happened, but still. I guess that's just what happens when a middle aged guy is writing about teenagers. He's a genius and I love his stuff but he doesn't understand teenage girls.

But then again, who does?

Heh, thanks for trying but I think the prime days of this FC are loooong gone, and that few if any will choose to come join, or come back.

Well, actually I don't think he wrote about teenage girls, I always thought in my mind that his books were like soap opera romances for adults. Also I think he actually understood woman pretty well, he was just in love with the one person who didn't have the same feelings for him for the majority of his life. Sorta sad since I feel that of all people he's the one who should have been given at least a hug or something for all the crap he went through and all the burdens he faced. In the end he'll probably go down as my favorite character to have existed in the manga. =]

huh? I didn't mean he wrote about teenage girls, his books were probably melodramatic porn with a storyline. I just meant that, before the timeskip, he had women around him alot. But after the timeskip he seemed to be completely in love with Tsunade. I so wanted that to happen, I supported that pairing from the very begining. But no, then he had to go and die, and Naruto doesn't even know that he named him. (wait, no, he probably does know since he read the J-man's book and the main character is called Naruto, and now he knows that he was also close to his father. So he must be able to put two and two together.)

I dunno, I don't think we've seen enough of Jiraiyas past to know whether he was close to other females or not. In my opinion he seems to have lived a pretty lonley life. It is pretty sad though that her couldn't tell Naruto alot of the things he knew about his family and all the events prior to the kyuubi attack, but I suppose there are other characters that are capable of doing that aswell.

I guess after reading this last chapter (483) that this is the final nail in the coffin for the SasuSaku pairing. Heh, it's almost along the lines of crack pairing now...

yeah...looks like all the groups have slowed down to a hault not just this one...LOL. Btw...did anyone notice how it seems naruto has now some how or another got karin's eye(from the last chapter's evidence anyway...). Though I personally feel she has as much of shot as ino or tenten do at getting with him which is absolutely 0, but still it's nice to see the women of this manga are FINALLY starting to notice him...

Yeah I was kinda thinking that, but it's probably too early to see. What I did notice was the very warm smile Sakura had towards Naruto when he passed out though, It may not mean anything but it was still nice.

Unfortunately, many people would disagree with you, lol.

Not me though, I like the pairing now just because. Other than that, I could care less what happens in canon.

I feel like Kishimoto just rampaged through both NaruSaku and SasuSaku. And he really has broken down Sakura's character. Her resolve is now to believe in Naruto and Sasuke? Not train? That's all, really? Possibly one of the most disappointing female leads in a long time, if Kishimoto sticks to this. <.<

Best to stick with Fanon when it comes to pairings in this manga, at least for now anyway. Despite the Hinata confession, the NS fiasco and the fact that Sasuke tried to kill the 2 girls that actually liked him beyond good looks every possible relationship is still 1 sided.

I hoped that Kishi would bring some aspects of it into clarity with Naruto's brief return to Konoha, but unfortunately hes rushing right into the training/war. That says a lot about his sense of urgency when it comes to writing about romance.

I know its a subplot but damn....

Well, I say possibly for a few reasons... the story is incomplete, so there is still a chance for Sakura to improve (or at least, to get back to what she was pre-Konoha invasion #2)... also I don't watch or read much anime/manga anymore, so I'm willing to bet there are shittier female leads out there... and well, I don't like to speak in absolutes... especially when it comes to interpreting a weekly shounen.

And for a long time, I really adored her character. I still do in a lot of ways. But I'm quite disappointed with Kishimoto's direction... =/ And I know a lot of people are feeling this way when it comes to her character, especially long-time fans like myself.

Agreed. If the SasuSaku fandom wasn't so talented, I'd probably drop the pairing entirely. I may start to look for really epic fanfics and see if I can get back into reading those... been so long though, and I don't have the patience or time to sift through ff.net....

In part 2, romantic feelings have just been used a melodramatic plot devices... They aren't really adding anything substantial to the story, like they did for me in Part 1.
