I wasn't a fan of the Reaper-sealing jutsu finale at first, but you got to admit that things are shaping up that way.

Decent chapter, but too much Sasuke-loving in it, as usual.

dude ive been waiting for that quote for so long

all those months you used the line that zetsu say as proof to naruto >sasuke
ive been sitting on the side lines because i partly agreed..kishi did write it

but regardless to why naruto said it and how much he knows what sasuke can do
he still said it and kishi wrote it..plus it was a serious thing coz the background was black
also the zetsu quote can be contested because zetsu compared sasukes strength when vs itachi to narutos strength after pain
he never saw the 8 tails fight otherwise he woulda known that 8 tails got away plus he woulda saved sasuke from the near deaths

sasuke is always a quiet type he doesnt ask much questions
the most dialogue in part 2 sasuke has had is during itachi fight and during the talk with madara

otherwise he usual scheme things himself
he probably has an idea of what madara wants, sooner of later he will start to prepare for the betrayal
i mean madara was on of the people who killed uchiha and he wasnt even ordered he just joined in for the fun

think about it, sasuke and naruto senju and uchiha...killing both of them would end the hatrid between the clans that started it all

the whole ninja world sees this sacriface and the world comes to an understanding

kinda like in matrix neo knew he had to sacriface himself to kill smith to cancel the equation because they are both exact opposites just like sasuke and naruto

^ kishi has been doing this quite a lot in part 2

he keeps skipping bits in the plot and then going back to them to reveal more shizz

maybe something happened when naruto fainted
maybe 4th spoke to him again
maybe itachi spoke to him

lots of possibilities

btw everyone is either on narutos side or on sasukes side...u cant be in between

oh and naruto alone could murk the the gennin 12 (apart from sasuke) thats one reason why hes now so respected

Not trying to be a hater here (sasuke sux, let's see who takes the bait), but isn't it possible that Naruto felt that he couldn't break Sasuke's resolve? I mean, if it's based on something that happened during the "mental clash" or whatever, when he "saw Sasuke's intentions", isn't there a decent chance that, especially considering that it was his goal to try to change Sasuke's mind, he "couldn't beat" Sasuke the way Sasuke had become, so insanely fixated on his goal that nothing could honestly break down Sasuke's single-minded desire for revenge? I'm not saying that Naruto would beat Sasuke now in a fight, at best possible (read:unlikely) case for him it'd be dead even.
