I agree that it often borders a little on the "gay-side", if there even is such a thing, but there is no way they would conclude this manga, with them being gay. There's a huge marketing machine behind Naruto that doesn't really intend on focusing on a minority, which is somewhat sad but very true.

If I read Shrike's posts, to me, it seems like he was having a laugh and just went with it. In the meanwhile people actually believe this to be true... Just mental.

I know this is a manga only thread buut in the new inheritor's movie there were many gay references.. one being Sai having a women's magazine to base his relationship info off of .. the way Naruto thought Kakashi was coming on ot him in the end and Rock lee admiting that a bromance was a part of the springtime of youth.. hmm I wonder if practice with his "woodstyle" counts as taijutsu trining
