Indeed! I've been wondering that too. How come there's no mention of anyone who took care of Naruto while he was a baby? Course Jiraiya was his godfather and all that but he should have some part in taking care of Naruto till he could live on his own... Unless he isn't too good with kids (with his travelling and all that).

if naruto is tsunades grandson i can perfectly see why madara attacked konoha.. because if so they have a monopoly of the hokage position save sarutobi but.. he was trained by the first. when konoha was formed it was a joint leadership between madara and hashirama up until hashirama was selected hokage and that led to the epic fight nobody has seen yet... and since that moment not a single uchiha has gotten close to claiming the seat. and if you were madara wouldnt u feel betrayed and attack the village and the clansmen that were supposed to have your back? alright then.. wow i just got off topic but that came outta nowhere

People need to realize that this is another world where they live another life. Plenty kids in each village are orphans. Kids can even become killers as soon as they are capable, like Itachi and Kakashi already being ninja well before their teens. Jiraiya had his own life and knew that Naruto would be protected by the village due to Sarutobi, so Naruto didnt "need" Jiraiya until Jiraiya entered the picture. Kinoha definitely has a plan for taking care or orphans, maybe an orphanage until kids reach an age, maybe 5, where they can pretty much take care of themselves. Ninja, especially great ninja like Jiraiya dont just give up their goals because their god son doesnt have parents.

When Tsunade developed her fear of blood, she no longer had much, if any value as a shinobi. Tsunade left the village because she no longer had a purpose there with that disorder and was probably embarrassed about it since she was supposed to be a Sannin. Even if Naruto was her grandson, the higher ups were not going to let her take him if she wanted to, and she was likely such an emotional wreck that she wouldnt have wanted to.

Tsunade can use lightning. She attempted to kill Orochu with just the chakra in her hands if Kabuto had not stopped her. 1 punch from her could kill even the strongest ninja, and she can heal herself, and she has war experience and wisdom. Tsunade is the shit, even offensively. Tsunade is Kage level in strength and other Kage related, top level capabilities.

The reason Minato was seen as so amazing was because he was the 1st NON-Senju to become Hokage. Everyone else is in relation to one another. There hasn't even been a hint that Minato was related to the 1st, 2nd, or Sarutobi. When in Jiraiya's story about Naruto, there was ample opportunity to speak of Minato's bloodlines being alongside the other 3 Hokages, and blah blah. It didn't happen, and the manga's been all about keeping the secret of Naruto's parents from him, theres nothing gained from keeping Minato's relation to the other Hokages a secret, and it does nothing 'better', or 'worse' for Naruto.

Ok, it does say she has the lightning affinity but we haven't seen her pull off any lightning jutsu except for her turning her chakra into electricity.

So what's your point? Did she not show that she is capable of it? I just said she can use it. With her chakra levels, who knows what she could be capable of with it.

Yeah she can use it, but like I said she hasn't pulled off any lightining based justu. She simply manipulated her chakra. It's probably part of her medical skills as they did serve her in the battle with Oro and Kabuto.

Anyways we are getting off the subject of Tsunade being Naruto's relative so lets carry on here.

It probably is part of her medical jutsu skills eventhough it served as an offensive weapon, and we all know that she hasnt used any lightning jutsu. I just said Tsunade can use ligtnung and people said," Oh no she cant" and I provided the link. U trying to explain why she probably can use it doesnt change anything about my statement that she can use it. Who knew Kakashi could make lightning dogs and lightning clones until he faced Pain, eventhough we knew he could use lightning?

Well she could do with some lightning armor. Added with her insane strength, she'd be awesome. Or mix some lightning into her fists for greater damage.

Hey man, I ain't trying to prove you wrong or anything. If Tsunade has some hidden lightning jutsu we don't know about then I'm sure we'll be seeing it later on. I'm just surprised that she hasn't used it (cept for that battle) let alone have the affinity for it.
