Well I'm assuming you're not gay so you won't want to marry another dude. However, if you're out on the town and get into a fight or even end up just defending yourself against some random guy and you cause some serious bodily harm or kill the dude (which is entirely likely to happen with you being such a badass) and he just so happens to be gay you could end up with a hate crime charge instead of just battery or manslaughter depending how things unfold. Even if you had no idea the guy was a gay or had no intended hate. Things can always be misconstrued and now your super fucked instead of just dealing with regular charges. Add alcohol in the mix. You're out having a good time and you jokingly called someone a fag or even an innocent comment to one of your friends earlier in the evening and its overheard before said fight and BAM! Hate crime. Which is far worse. Its a legitimate possibility. Thats why gays should man up and stop crying for exceptions. They should just keep it to themselves and not force the rest of us to suffer their foolishness by changing laws and shit.

Except a lot worse, since being black is a shitload more obvious than being gay. By your logic, I should be against black people having rights too since there is some random off-chance that it could negatively effect me.

There is absolutely no situation where people having equal rights will negatively effect...well, pretty much anyone. It is entirely irrational to be against equality in this scenario.

First of all, gays choose to be who they are so if they don't want to be ridiculed or discriminated then they should just keep there personal choices to themselves instead of imposing their "personal" lifestyle on others so much that they need to change laws just over a personal sexual preference. Comparing their plight, which they brought on themselves, to that of a black person that is born with no choice in the matter is an insult. Not to mention the immorality and unnatural nature of homosexuality to begin with. To which a majority of the WHOLE FUCKING WORLD AGREES.

Moreover on black people and other races, their civil liberties were never being denied because they made an immoral choice to live a certain way and tried to impose it on others. Its apples and oranges. Since you went there though I'll say this. Giving black people civil liberties is completely different than making exceptions for them in the form of hate crime legislation or even affirmative action. Hate crime legislation and affirmative action are both forms of reverse racism as they give extra protections for a group of people over another. I do not agree with that whether it be for gays, blacks, or whatever other group you want to throw in there. There's something really wrong when the penalties for violence or other crimes are stiffer for one group of people over another. The group without extra protections is being discriminated against.

First, Ero-Sage: You do realize Sodomy is defined as any unnatural sexual act and that definition changes on jurisdiction right? It isn't just gay sex. In fact, in many places, it covers almost everything other than vaginal sex. That means in some places of the world, a whole lot of straight people are practicing sodomy, too. Want to lock them up?

Hate crimes require proof that the person attacked or discriminated another because of their race or orientation - not that they just happened to be so. In your example, your beef is with the legal system and how people are able to put false slants on situations, not homosexuality. Furthermore, if the world accepted gays, there would be no hate crime against them. Still, a good policy would be not to get in fights, and you'll be fine.

Next - choice. Whether or not the "WHOLE WORLD FUCKING AGREES", the evidence is growing that the choice in homosexuality is merely one of whether or not a person will acknowledge who they are and to expose that to the world. Science is slowly piecing together the complex web of genetics, environmental factors and brain plasticity and beginning to unravel factors that influence the development of many physiological states, in both disease and health. Homosexuality has becoming increasingly attributed to various factors as early as the womb environment and genetics and modification of those genetics. In the end, the evidence is increasing that this is not a choice, but rather homosexuality is a physiological state and not a preference.

Yeah, you probably don't agree and would site that the majority of people don't so it can't be true, but that's not how science works. A lot of people don't think Global Climate Change is real either, but the science strongly says otherwise.

As for Naruto, I've long made my point of view very clear - his only goal is retrieving Sasuke. It is his whole focus. He is willingly ignoring women who want him (mainly Hinata, but he did brush off Sakura, too). The only real conclusion is that he's been so messed up he isn't even acknowledging his own sexuality. Naruto is asexual at this moment. Which way he swings in the end is up in the air.
