NO I dont hate Europe. I just have pride in my country and its ass kicking abilities as you have pride in Portugal and its cute woman making abilities. Your country in particular should be thanked (or get an award) for bringing the contribution of genetic makeup for Brazillian chicks. But back on topic, we kicked ass when we were under the thumb of England as a ragtag army and they have been on our dicks ever since (even riding with Bush's stupid ass on that Iraq shit). We also saved Europe's ass in WWII. All of you would probably be speaking German if it wasn't for us. But the point is....We have kicked ass and we take immense pride in it as you can see. But no, I dont hate Europe. You guys have cool shit over there and have contributed some shit to the world too though. But Im American so I take pride in that.

There is no hate for Europeans or even Europe. But as Kinako said I am (possibly overly) proud of my country. I don't see US as superior or any other European country inferior, but we have come a long way.

Comparing US and Europe (I agree Numinous) is like comparing apples and oranges because Europe has so much history and America is relatively new. But (not concerning the past) I think it is more of a comparison of the 2 today.

Edit:@Kinako- Brazil does have some fine woman.

Portuguese sailors set loose to unknown seas with craptastic nut shells and almost always had the disadvantage against Spain, but we survived to tell our history. So we Portuguese know how American feel about the English, so there's more reason for you to NOT call us dickriders and loleuropeans.

Correction, PART of Europe. Portugal, for example, had no problem with the German and they didn't intend to invade us (they learned their lesson in WWI when they failed at taking Azores away from us). Funny thing, we gave resources to Germany and US so either way Portugal didn't need its ass saved.

I'm starting to think you're not understanding the concept of comparisons.

Comparing languages to other languages is okay, for example, even if you're comparing one language to a thousand. The "apples and oranges" thing is when you compare how fast you can run to how tasty cake is. Since running speed and taste are actually completely different things. A region of the world being compared to a different region of the world isn't "apples and oranges," since you're comparing the same things: Regions. It doesn't matter that there are differences among those two regions, since...that's the whole fucking point in comparing shit, pretty much.

If I compared a katana to a zweihänder I would hope you wouldn't say stupid shit like "Lolol lyke dey r from 2 different time periods with drastically different cultures N r wielded differently N stuff durrrrr APPLES N ORANGES LOLOL." Because I'm comparing two sharp pointy weapons, and they're both sharp pointy weapons. So I can compare them. Same exact concept applies here.
