Re: What book are you currently reading?
The prequel answers some questions made throughout the series, so I would recommend it.
@naruto_nutty: I was trying to not spoil anything by asking a very vague question, didn't mean for it to get into a full discussion like that. Last edited by kael03; 09-18-2010 at 12:25 PM. |

Re: What book are you currently reading?
so the prequel doesnt assume the reader has knowledge from other parts?

Re: What book are you currently reading?
Pretty much. There are some small stuff mentioned throughout the series that A New Spring sheds more light on (like how Lan and Moraine meet). Jordan pretty much wrote A New Spring to introduce the lesser primary characters and explain some unanswered questions.

Re: What book are you currently reading?
You do realize you two could just go create a little thread to chat about them and then it would be MY fault if I read it, right? Nearly a third through it already. I'm moving well enough to beat your five months.
By the way, book two is worth if for this: "There is one rule, above all others, for being a man. Whatever comes, face it on your feet." ~ al'Lan Mandragoran. Truth. |

Re: What book are you currently reading?
With my public transit time, I'm usually on a book a week pace anyway. Nothing too out of the ordinary. Only difference is that I've put aside reading other novels at night and am focusing totally on WoT.

Re: What book are you currently reading?
my time was 2 and a hald month for 11 books. but i was still in school at that time and didn't need to do so much other stuff. like learning...
ah damn, i think i'll reread the series after book 13 again. too awesome to be read only two times. "No wine for me. Strange enough things happen when my head is clear. I want to know the difference." ~ Mat Cauthon |

Re: What book are you currently reading?
Book two done. Story is going from good to very good. Now on to Book Three: The Dragon Reborn. If the pattern holds, I should be done in a week and a day.
