Book 4 done! One to book 5: The Fires of Heaven.

Also, didn't really find book four dragged. If anything, it was a good ramp up to getting things going with the battle with the shadow. My only problem, it's going to easy on the good guys. I know there's lots to come, but they need more setbacks or tragedies.

I'm about half finished (100/170 pages) Mere Christianity by C. S. Lewis, as I kind of stopped reading for a while there. I am debating what to read when I am finished in a day or two:

0) Continue reading the next book (The Screwtape Letters) in the single-volume C. S. Lewis collection.
1) The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy
2) A book about the Cold War
3) Buy the $30 pack of the first 3 WoT books.

3) because it is really good, but in second spot because you'll want to buy the rest - or suffer the tedium of library.
0 and 2) no opinion. Don't know anything about that series or what book about the Cold War it is.

kael, ACt and I can all say, that WoT is an excellent choice. But perhaps it would be better to finish the series you started first.

The "series" I'm reading is just a collection of separate books, they can be read in any order, or not read at all.

Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy it is, then.

The Cleric Quintet is hard to get into. I hear the first book is painful but it gets better. Isn't the Hunter's Blade Trilogy books 14-17 for the Drizzt books?

15-18 in the Drizzt books. I still need to complete the series before the Hunter's Blades Trilogy, I'm only missing like 3 books total, and then get the Transition series.

Also check out the Sell Sword series. It deals with two of the main villains of the Drizzt series. Once you start reading about

you might get disappointed with villains you read about in other stories.

Once you start reading about Jarlaxle you might get disappointed with villains you read about in other stories.
