Well, I guess I shouldn't say I "like" them, more like I listen to them once in a great great while when the mood suddenly hits. I'm mostly a heavy metal and harder fan.

I have to wait for the end of January to find out the line-up for the next Mayhem Fest. Friend and I have determined we're going to make it to a show each year for as long as we can.

What does the ticket usually cost for the Mayhem Festival? And how many bands are playing?

Saw them 2 years ago at Mayhem Fest. Next to Kittie they were one of the most intense shows I've seen a band put on that didn't involve pyrotechnics.

About $75 after all is said and done, that was for the general admission spot (pit) at the venue we go to. There's usually about 13-14 bands with 3 stages, it's an all day event. My friend and I usually don't sit down until we're in the car leaving.

Ah, okay. The idea of a one day festival sounds awesome. I only have been to multiple day festivals and shows of 4-5 bands on one stage.

It's really not a bad price for everything that happens at one of these things. Each band except the ones on the Main Stage and the closing band for the secondary stages segment (the stages switch for each band. 1 stage plays while the other sets up) holds a meet and greet before and after their shows (I met Shadows Fall at this past Mayhem Fest, got a pic with the singer AND a big poster with the entire band's autographs). The food/drinks there are expensive as fuck, but there's a water tent so we normally don't eat anything during the show itself.

Plus....metal booth babes.

because i'm really enoying the music part of it, but not the yelling.

Yeah in Wacken the food is so fucking expensive...and the beer...holy crap. But once a year it is okay to pay such prices. The ticket is relativly cheap with 130€ for 3 days of bands (about 50).

And fuck yeah metal babes...awesome.

Yeah that's english. Like I said, the first one is more about growling. But here you go Tabris. It is generally all about vikings/norse.
