Yeah, but there were those-''lovey dovey kiss kiss boyfriend girlfriend touch touch'' scenes. Although they were stupid as fuck, they had some emotion behind them.

You can't call someone out on their opinion. If my opinion is ignorant and narrow minded to you, then it is ignorant and narrow-minded to you. That would be your opinion. I don't think that it's ignorant and narrow-minded.

Someone's opinion can be stupid to other people. And the same thing can be said for that person. That same person can find other people's opinion stupid or ignorant just because it differs from his. If I think that playing with toys as an adult is childish, then that's what I think. If you think that my opinion is narrow-minded, then that's just what you think. It doesn't have to matter.
