So, dragon slayer learn their stuff from dragons and god slayer learns from gods?

I dont buy this. Either thats a bluff like the artificial dragon slayers or he's a deranged kid that was abandon at some church because if there is a godslayer then a demonslayer, beastslayer, fapslayer is possible

Well finally the match ups have been made !

Was funny that the fat oaf didnt get matched up with anyone :P

I think its quite obvious now that the Goat guy is one of the Celestial Spirits as Loke had a look of recognising him. Was surprised Gray wasnt against Ultear perhaps in time they will meet up.

As for the Zancrow guy, I think he meant it as a figure of speech I really doubt he is a 'godslayer' and for all the guys saying he learned from a god i dont think thats the case :P I am interested to see all the Lost magic each of them posess though.

Usually in anime when a character has "god" in the their title it usually ends up being fail (except for God Enel from One Piece, it just seemed to work for him). Not bashing or anything, it could be that dark fire dude was bestowed powerful magic that it seems god-like thus God Slayer. The fact that Natsu can't eat it makes me believe that it isn't fire at all but something that acts like fire.

Not bad, but set up chapters are always forgettable in the end. And hey, we've heard the "Natsu - you can't eat this" before... I think Natsu has his fight. The others, who knows.

I bet there's some kinda loophole that will allow Natsu to eat the black flames. Something along the lines of him not eating them directly, but if they hit something burnable (a tree or something) and it catches fire then he'll be able to eat the flames of whatevers burning, since it'll be indirect exposure.
