I was talking about BitTorrents. They generally work that way,(BitTorrent.com, isohunt.com) or so I heard from my IT cabling teacher. P2P is Peer-2-Peer sharing, a type of network topology that involves direct communication between two nodes(duh.) The IP address is used to identify the two nodes in the network and the third layer in the OSI layer model(Network layer) directs the data where to travel and depending on how big it is, the data is broken up in the transport layer(Or is it always broken up regardless of size?) and sent in "Packets", then the session layer manages connection, presentation layer "Translates" and the application layer lets you view the contents of the file. You clearly can't blame this on me, blame my teacher for misinforming me and 27 other students. I could google it, but that's cheating(duh.)
