as N the sample size increases you get closer to the average

so in this case think of the average = 1 human race (or golden circle) in the solar system
N= to the number of solar systems in the universe, lets just call it infinite

(I'm not gonna write the math I can't actually count how many solar systems there are in existence)

it just makes perfect sense that a planet JUST LIKE OUR is out there with life
technology and what have you is simply and issue of how long it has been around compared to us


also it is a rule of Biology nature does not pick whats perfect, it picks what works
so then we have to account for the fact that even on earth their are bacterial life forms that live on arsenic not oxygen so why not an entire planet?

I believe there is life on other planets, its kinda dumb not to. I dont think there some super intelligent, intergalactic species monitoring us or anything. If anything I could see us (humans) discovering simple life on other planets and us monotoring or invading them. That makes more sense to me. I cant imagine aliens being vastly superior to us and having nothing better to do than watch and probe humans for centuries. Assuming there technology is superior to ours (being able to travel between galexies, lightspeed and what not) I dont see what reason they would have to monitor us or even pose as god. Monotoring wouldnt take that long if you have super advanced technology weather ur trying to understand us or our planet. Seems silly imo to think thats whats really going on.

What precludes the human race as the measurement for technology? As a species we are rather young, as a solar system we are rather young. Hell, as a galaxy we are rather young. If there exists life beyond our planet (which I believe there does), chances are very good they are more advanced than us technologically. Of course, with the constant birthing and destruction of galaxies, the other end of the spectrum is also possible.
