Things appear to be running smoothly in TQ. the Satyrs are falling by the wayside. Though seriously, not impressed with the amount I can carry... really annoying having to go back and forth.

So, when does this questing begin with my pathetic level 3 warrior?

You get extra bags to carry even more stuff later on, but long before then you'll have stopped caring about items below gold (or even green) as you will eventually amass more money than you know what to do with.

I'm essentially available to play for most of today, I'll be starting a Ritualist soon.

Yeah, work is going to get in the way more of the waking hours, but Sat Night during HNIC, I could find myself tied to the game.

I am basically free most of the day. Vacation and all. So just write and we kill some Sartyrs. I have my harbinger on 6 now, so that should not be too advanced like my hunter.

And I might have some nice items overflooding my bank.

Juuuuuust asking, 'cause during my first game, before I hit level 4 I didn't even know you could create a portal so I would walk all the way back to the merchant.

To be honest, I just hit L by accident going for M and the computer said "do you want to make a portal?" and I was "... absolutely!"

By the way, this game makes me think of BG: DA. Thank you - I miss games like this.

YES! That's the first game I thought of when I started playing it, especially the co-op.

But yeah, I wish the same had happened to me. -.- Spent too much time walking around.

^ I went to the Black Emporium and reconfigured my stats and abilities to a 2H warrior. I did the sword and shield routine at first, because that's what I did in DA:O, but they changed the combat in such a way that I found aggressive 2H play to be more exciting than tanking imo.

How are you liking the game thus far?

I'm actually fuckin' loving it. I was one of the many complaining before release about how shit it would be and how much it would change from DA:O but I would take all that back now... and blame it on Bioware's marketing department. <.< I've gotten used to the PC control system so that isn't too much of a bother except once in a while when my damn companions run backwards to the entrance for no fucking reason. When I click on them to bring them back to the front... my main character decides he should also move back... -.-

I'm quite enjoying the quest so far, I think I've done pretty much all of the first part, just finished the Deep Roads, not sure if you've been there yet and I won't spoil it for the rest, but hooooooooooooly shit. Hooooooooooooly shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit.




I'm currently with Varric, Anders and Isabela. I've only had to go to the Black Emporium to buy the potion to reconfigure Anders abilities, I was thinking I might go and change mine soon too.

I had to stop to do some assignment work, but I've done a good section of it so now I'm wondering whether or not to play some more. Which part are you in now?

I think after this I'm going to try playing as a mage and then doing a run through as a rogue after that.

I just got past the deep roads also. I haven't been able to play as much as I've wanted due to my work schedule, but I'm off today so I plan on getting some serious playing accomplished.

Lol I like how that fade spirit tried to show up and jack my hard earned loot after beating the rock wraith. I left it in the hands of Varric and he didn't let me down. Anytime I get a conversation option to defer to Varric, I take it. Definitely my favorite new character.

p.s. It seems way harder to earn money in this game than it was in the first. In DA:O, I was practically Scrooge McDuck by the end of the game, fucking swimming in sovereigns. This one, not so much...
