Yeah I did the same thing with Varric, him and Anders (I didn't get to play Awakenings so this is the first time I've used Anders) are becoming my favourite companions.

I like that it's a lot quicker paced than DA:O was, a lot less walking time and battles are more frequent it seems. Though I did like that DA:O had more conversation options and just more conversation in general. Currently I think I have around 100 sovereigns, I made the 50 myself for the expedition to the Deep Roads and the 100+ is what I was given when I came back (along with a fuckin' small mansion). Though I'm not spending that much money and I'm finding myself using a lot less health potions and injury kits than I did in DA:O.

Right now there's a part where I have to go into the damn Fade, and I really don't want to. -.-

Getting ready to do that one myself. Goddamn I hated the Fade section of the first one, hopefully this will be better.

I usually roll with Anders, Varric, and Isabelle. I like Aveline for tanking, but she just plain isn't any fun as a party member -_-

I'm gonna put that off for a bit, I think I'm currently level 12 or something. I might redo my abilities soon and pick another specialization, I went with Reaver.

I'm not sure if I'm in year 3 or year 4 of the 10 year history, but it still seems pretty early on and I've gotten a lot of game play out of it.

I actually like that elf chick Meryl. Her play on words type conversation things are sometimes pretty humorous. I might bang her instead of my sister, since my sister doesn't seem too receptive to my dude taking it to her as of yet. I'd bang the pirate chick, but that just seems too easy. But then again, she's a pirate chick...

Actually, I like pretty much everyone except the barbarian butch chick. I really hope I can find Ser pounce-a-lot for Anders. That's pretty much my true goal in the game. Fuck the quanari, templers, darkspawn, etc. I will reunite that man with his cat!

And I too am starting to think sword and shield isn't that great. So I might respec as well.

i have alot of free time right now so i was looking for some games to play. the demo of da2 was on xbox live so i tried it out. they only had a single player story mode availabe but if there are other modes like a co-op story mode or multiplayer i could see the appeal. the game play is far better then i had expected. i was playing as a 2x handed warrior at first which was pretty cool but ending up just using the mage in my party when playing, i found it far more fun to be using the mage in the game, the gameplay for the mage was pretty awesome.

Nah, there's no co-op or multiplayer on this. Would be fun, but all single player.

that kind of sucks, i prefer games you can play multiplayer. it seems like the type of game that would have some type of co-op to.

Co-op would have been great on it, multiplayer not so much. I prefer some of my games to stick to their single player storyline and not waste time adding a multiplayer option, not every game needs to have the option. I'm looking at you Bioshock 2.

Batman Arkham City is doing the same and only concentrating on the single player which I'm happy about.

Very few games need multiplayer. In fact, most FPS games out there shouldn't even bother with multiplayer at all. If you're making a "realistic" shooter, you're not going to dethrone COD so there's no point wasting resources on it unless you can do something exceptional with it.

That said, some comments from playing with three last night with Nerox and Mal.

Was it seriously choppy for anyone else or is it my computer? There were times where it was just missing frames, but other times when I would run forward, swing away without hitting and then everything would be dead and Mal and Nerox on to the next screen. It kinda ruined part of the experience. Is there away around this? Something I should look into doing? Because I don't know how it'll handle the info form a large party.

Also, what level are we going to aim for? Need to know how much to play, even though I'm ahead of Nerox #2 and Mal.

And I should probably see if I can't figure out what was wrong with my headset...
