Rush finding the code definitely increases the minimum amount of chapters neede for a decent ending, without that they could just send em home. The show has potential, and I hope somebody picks it up (soon!)

Quotes for noobs (learn how to break up a quote)

So you can post the second bit and i shouldnt be allowed to if i dont tell you? Why be so rude?

Anyways, here is a quotes for noobs guide

1. A basic quote

[*QUOTE][*/QUOTE]

(the * need to be removed for it to work, I put them in so you can see the text) is a basic quote that just wraps something in a quote without saying who quoted it who quoted so

[*QUOTE]this is a quote[*/QUOTE] without any * would look like
Quote:
this is a quote

Edit: there is a button for this, it looks like a speech bubble. If you select text and then press the button the selected text will automatically be wrapped with the quote tag

2. A quote that says who said it

[*QUOTE=who said it][*/QUOTE] this adds who said the post, manually putting that there can be useful when quoting something external. Example:

[*QUOTE=Mangastream]Remember all you sexy bastards out there, Naruto, Bleach, OP, FT, etc. all on break this week. Feel free to take your rage out on us[*/QUOTE] without any * would look like
Quote:

3. A quote that says who said it and links to the post where it was said

[*QUOTE=who said it;X][*/QUOTE]

Where X is the post number.

For the post that i originally quoted it would look like this

[*QUOTE=minato uchiha;2118164]Ok Stubborn donkey, how do you break it up please and if your not willingly to tell me, then please DONT offer me no advice in future[*/QUOTE]

That is what you get when you press the quote button.

4. Breaking up a quote

Now that you know how quotes work it all boils down to preference, how you want it to look like and how you want to do it.

One way of doing it is copying the latter part of the original quote [*/QUOTE] and then pasting it after each section you break up, write your reply, choose the text you want then paste it after that portion, repeat till you finish the go back and copy then paste the first part of the text at the beginning of each portion of text. Of course you can immediately copy and paste both parts of a poste so that you dont forget one in the end.

The end result would be something like this

[*QUOTE=minato uchiha;2118164]Ok Stubborn donkey,[*/QUOTE]
My reply 1
[*QUOTE=minato uchiha;2118164] how do you break it up please[*/QUOTE]
my reply 2
[*QUOTE=minato uchiha;2118164]and if your not willingly to tell me, [*/QUOTE]
my reply 3
[*QUOTE=minato uchiha;2118164]then please DONT offer me no advice in future[*/QUOTE]
my reply 4

Which without any * would look like

Another way of doing it would be to cut and paste the second part of the quote tag after the first section of text you want to seperate then write your reply select the second part and hit he quote button (it looks like a text bubble),if you do that without anything else the end result would be

[*QUOTE=minato uchiha;2118164]Ok Stubborn donkey,[*/QUOTE]
My reply 1
[*QUOTE] how do you break it up please[*/QUOTE]
my reply 2
[*QUOTE]and if your not willingly to tell me, [*/QUOTE]
my reply 3
[*QUOTE]then please DONT offer me no advice in future[*/QUOTE]
my reply 4

Which would look like

Quote:

To make it like the previous example (which wpuld be preferred, though not necessary ) copy the part that says who posted with the link to the post and paste it accordingly to the proper part in each first half of each quote tag. In my I would copy =minato uchiha;2118164 and paste it where the # is
[*QUOTE#] to get [*QUOTE=minato uchiha;2118164] (of course with the * removed)

Of course you can use any other method you like to get to the end result, but now that you know what the end rwsult looks like I think there shouldnt be any problems

Or, intentionally throw your back out + contact your union = profit with time off.

That is, if you have a union and are willing to play those scum suckers game with your management.

Everyone and their dog has a high school diploma these days too. You should still get one of those anyway. For the same exact reason having a college degree is better than no degree: That being that if everyone has one, except you, then you're bottom of the barrel.

Especially if you spent the last couple years in school, with only a single semester left. I'd personally finish that semester off, have something to show for it, and then do whatever I want to do while having the ability to get a non-shitty job (Read: I'm not talking about some part-time retail position. I'm referring to a real, actual job that usually requires something other than a high school diploma. Pays well, offers benefits, etc.).

That's just me. That's not stupid or wrong in any way what-so-ever. I don't know Kael's personal arrangements. I don't know how he pays for school, rent, bills, etc. I pay all that shit myself. I would need a real job to afford living and going to school at the same time. A part-time and/or low pay job wouldn't cut it for me. I'd want to make it as easy as I possibly can to find a decent job. Applying for that shit with little working experience and being a full-time student without anything to show for it wouldn't help me any. Having a degree might. I'd get a degree. Again, that's just me. Feel free to point out the error in my logic here, or how that's fucking stupid like what was originally being suggested when someone else brought up the same point. Granted, animufag is being a total retard. But at least that small part of what he said wasn't idiotic. Or, maybe it was and I'm just too stupid to see it. I dunno.

Quote:
This discussion is now getting into my entire philosophy on life:

The idea that you should determine your schooling based on job availability and potential earnings is ridiculous. What do you gain from this? More money? What does that really matter?

Society is far too focused on money. Your entire life is spent training to one day make as much money as you can. You spend 12 or 13 years learning enough shit to earn the right to pay to learn more shit to get a piece of paper that will impress people to the point that they're willing to give you money. Obviously, there are highly specialized jobs that require substantial education, but the idea that you should only study what will make you money is stupid.

Why is more money better? What does it really get you? What's wrong with studying what interests you, regardless of it's real-world application or how much money it will potentially make you?

This is why I have massive respect for RNB. He's a sharp guy who could likely excel in whatever he decided to do, but he doesn't care. It doesn't seem to matter to him how much money he could make; as long as he'll make enough to get by, he'll study whatever he damn well pleases.

All you need is enough money to pay your bills, maybe go on vacation every once in a while, and save for your retirement. Life is what you make of it, with or without money.

Agreed. Except, that doesn't always work out so well in practice. Like, I really enjoy wrestling. I can't make a living off of it though. Only people that do are high level college coaches and elite level wrestlers who do clinics and shit. As much as I enjoy it, I don't have the credentials or the skill to do either of those things. There are no wrestling dojos or anything. Best I can hope for is being a high school coach somewhere, which nets you about 3-10 thousand a year depending on the size of the school. I could probably live off that if I go hardcore bum style. If I ever want to have kids I can't let them live like that. I'd be a douche if I did. You need money. That's just how shit works.

I'd rather just get an easy, well-paying job that I totally won't take very seriously at all because it totally isn't necessary to define yourself by your job. Put my hours in. And then have the money to do what I enjoy after work. That way I won't have to worry about having to afford little Miburo jr.'s braces or testosterone reduction surgery or whatever. I can take care of my manly responsibilities, have my own goddamn wrestling room or some shit out back, and all that shit. That seems like a much better idea compared to trying to make a living wrestling or playing videogames or some shit, while struggling to pay the bills and provide a good living environment for my family.

Now, again, that's just me. If someone really loves cooking shit then that dude can be a chef and make money doing what he enjoys. But that shit doesn't work for everyone. Don't get me wrong, I dislike how shit is too. And people who only care about how much money they have, like that's the end-all measurement of success or some shit, are hardcore pathetic fags in my manly eye. If that's what you're getting at, then I couldn't agree more. But that money shit is pretty important. 'Enough to pay the bills' is relative. You could have your family living in some crime infested shithole (Read: Neighborhood full of negros) and have enough to pay the bills. Or you could live in a nice, relatively safe neighborhood and have enough to pay the bills. The bills could include ballet or violin lessons for you adorable little daughter. Etc.

Student loans and grants and a small scholarship, all of which is depleted for the rest of the semester. I'm living in the dorms so I don't have to worry about monthly rent or any of the crap bills like electric/water/etc (got a grant to live in the dorms) and the "internet" I get is $80 per semester.

I just got back from a follow-up interview at a job that will give me about 30 hours a week at $8.50 an hour, starting. Push comes to shove I'm going to live with my parents for a couple months during the summer until I know I'm staying at the job permanently. If I stay on after the summer, I'm going to combine what I save and student loans and get my own place.
