not even going to ask about the check related incidents. i still would have taken it personally not being promoted, thats just me. you say it like you actually changed places of work when you you say switched companies, another company just merged and took over but you still had worked there for over 3 years at the time.

I did change places of work, everyone in the original store did. There are 2 local grocery store chains in south west michigan, 1 is based in my hometown and the other is based about an hour north. I worked for the latter first, then they sold their outer stores. When the store I worked for was sold, we were offered spots for the other company.

I was very nervous for many reasons the first in my area I sell lotto and moneygram so I had the lottery line and I was alone in my area. Imagine someone giving you $8,000 right there with the lotto people watching and waiting. It's not safe I tell you, there's been too many robberies in this island so I just wanted to count as fast as I can, so I think I either messed up counting the $50's thinking there were $2,000 but there was only $1,000. The other thing could be one of my co workers( I work at a supermarket) could have taken one of the $1,000 stacks at least, but the cameras would see that so I don't know.

I should've been "promoted" to front manager a long time ago but one of the douche bosses told to not promote me because I work fast and good. -___- I started as a bagger and learned cashier just by watching same as moneygram and lotto or any other area there, I know more about how to do things than some of the managers and they ask me on how to do them, I just ignore them and tell them they should know instead of sucking the boss's dick.

yea by me there were actually alot of robberies at the banks, we would always get a memo and pictures that were taken and hear about other branch's getting robbed. i was actually really surprised to find out there were so many robberies when working. it seems like something that would just happen in a movie, i had no idea it was a fequend occurence. there is really nothing you can do about being robbed in these situations, just best to put it out of mind and relax.

I've acknowledged this numerous times to numerous people. Why would I spend more money and waste 3 months to get a degree that's only purpose is to get into Graduate school, when I'm not going to continue on to Graduate school in that degree? There are 0 jobs available in the field of Psychology that you can get with a Bachelor's. It won't matter if I have the degree for job hunting because I wouldn't get a job that I could use it for. If I switch now and not continue with Psychology, I would save that $4-5k in loans and finish the degree I want that much faster.

From an economic view, it makes more sense for me to switch now, than waste money on a degree I can't use without furthering my education in that field.
