Re: Dragon Age 2, Titan Quest and all things related

Mibs - Saints Row 2, I've only really gotten as far as the character creation and walking around a little but so far it's really good (using 360 controller), the amount of character creation options in it is just fucking amazing. I think I got it on Steam for under £3, I've heard great things about it, seems like a fun game.

Also, definitely have to finish Half Life 2 sooner or later, just got past that part with the fucking airboat, I hate that part so much... so much... then after that Darksiders and Batman and I have to restart BioShock 'cause I lost the save files for it after I formatted. -.-

Juuust waiting on those sales now, or until Dragon Age Origins is up for sale on it. <.<

edit: heres my list
I was about 2 hours into HL2:Ep2, but then I lost my saves in the same way Arty did, so now I'm about half an hour in.

Also, my games consist of HL2+Ep1 pack, Orange Box and Titan Quest.

Doug! TF2! Plaaaaaay with us.

Can't wait till Portal 2 is activated, 19th of April! Uuuuuurgh. If any of you plan on buying it for the PS3, you get a free Steam PC copy if you do and there's cross platform co-op.

Re: Dragon Age 2, Titan Quest and all things related

Lol, tempted to buy the PS3 version just for the free Steam copy, and then immediately sell it back.

Also, Mass Effect 2 action figures are STILL delayed. It's been like a year, what the fuck. Bioware are saying they won't do business with the company again because they delay has been unprofessional and disrespectful to fans. Damn right.

I put my pre-order in for the Tali figure because I am not missing out on that when they finally get shipped ._.

Re: Dragon Age 2, Titan Quest and all things related

They apparently offered the same deal to Microsoft but they refused to do it.

Surely BioWare had some kind of contract with a deadline on it, suuuuue. Unless they have some shitty business methods.

I wonder if it has anything to do with EA being douche-rockets. Because seriously, DA2 wasn't a terrible game, but it just seemed rushed, like they had to meet a fucking deadline. I swear if they fuck up ME3, Bioware will be dead to me. I have a much more vested interest in the Mass Effect series than Dragon Age anyway.

Manta - Yeah it's pretty good, I'll load it up again later and take some screens to show you, though I do play my games on windowed mode whenever I can. Have you played much of Homefront yet?

Servo - Yup, I think it was the guy that worked on the music score for it admitted that they were being rushed by EA so they could cash in on the hype DA:O had. It wasn't a bad game, just disappointing after DA:O, if it wasn't meant to be a sequel to it, I'm sure it would have received a lot less shit. I think a reviewer suggested we should all agree to call it Dragon Age: Kirkwall and let BioWare work on a real new Dragon Age 2:

Re: Dragon Age 2, Titan Quest and all things related

Yeah but not online, for some reason when I tried playing online it would drop my connection and when I connected it wouldn't let me spawn, I'll see if that got fixed now...

From what I've played so far in campaign its CoD meets Frontlines: FoW.

Re: Dragon Age 2, Titan Quest and all things related

Yeah I had the same problems before, but the recent patch fixed that for me and now I get no problems with online, not even lag or anything, and that's with 32 player games.

The only problem with multiplayer at the moment is that you don't really get any of the good weapons till you hit level 16 and it takes a while to get there, and most players on average are around level 30 or so by now... but I kind of like it because it makes it feel worthwhile working my way up the levels. Especially when I play some games and end up near the top of the scoreboard, I feel proud of me and my Korean soldier. I do like it more than CoD, though I have yet to play a CoD game on PC.

Single player I haven't gotten very far in but I like it so far, they're working on new content for it they said.

If you get a CoD game on PC try to get either CoD4 or WaW, both have amazing mods.

Re: Dragon Age 2, Titan Quest and all things related

I actually loved WaW on my PS3, the weapons were simple and they had flame throwers. No fucking heart detectors and other bullshit of that sort, you had a rifle and if you were lucky a knife attached to it. I might end up getting Black Ops this year if it goes on sale though. Any other good multiplayer games out there? Or to be released soon?

Edit: Just reminded me of these -
