Re: Dragon Age 2, Titan Quest and all things related

Gaming nerds assemble, your opinion is required. Two things, first, considering getting Dungeon Siege 3, the availability of co-op and multiplayer being a huge part of the interest, so was wondering if anybody had played any of the previous ones to see what it's like.

Second, the co-op of it has been described as Fable II style co-op, partly to things such as guest characters not being able to carry over XP or loot back to their single player games, so for those who have played Fable II co-op, how is it?

I thank you.

In other news, I've finally finished Portal after not playing it since last June and I love it oh so much.

Fable II co-op sucked balls. Basically.

Apart from that time me and Miburo had a massive orgy in a public house. But I doubt Dungeon Siege has those.

Re: Dragon Age 2, Titan Quest and all things related

Just to let you know guys you can't just buy the PS3 version and resell it, it is tied with your Steam account so the game would be useless to the person who buys it secondhand.
Here's some of the features of the PS3 version.

Nah, you can probably sell it, just get a lower price than you would if you don't use the voucher for the PC copy.

Re: Dragon Age 2, Titan Quest and all things related

↑ This seems to be the case. You get the PC version free only if you link your PS3 and Steam account, which means you can go without linking your accounts and likely hide your possession of the PS3 version from Valve. Unless Valve is requiring registration of the PS3 version to play it, they should be none the wiser if you try to sell it.

Also, "We’re using the cloud so that you can save to Steam from your PS3, but we’re not involved enough to say that you can pick up your progress on the PC using your PS3 save – we ran out of time."

Re: Dragon Age 2, Titan Quest and all things related

I've played dungeon siege 2. but not its expansion And its amazing. the system is very diablo like from the combat system and the skill trees. story line and gameplay was great. you can personalize your companion items you can have pets.

Re: Dragon Age 2, Titan Quest and all things related

Ah yeah, that's what I've heard that the story line and game play are generally really great, I think Dungen Siege 3 has been change a little to fit consoles with people calling it a mix of DMC and Zelda (basically like Darksiders, but I don't mind 'cause I like that).

But when it comes to co-op, unless you're hosting a game, you really get nothing aside from the gameplay out of joining a co-op game as none of the experience you earn or loot you find carry over to your single player game. But with the Steam copy you get all 3 games and you can play the first two before the 3rd comes out (20th June) which I think is a pretty decent deal.

I've seen that first one before, I laughed so much. Amnesia is pretty damn scary.

Re: Dragon Age 2, Titan Quest and all things related

Finished Amnesia.
The ending didn't satisfy me story-wise, but it's a great game. Definitely worth playing. I am far from someone who can be scared easily, but that game had moments where I went like WOAH GET THE FUCK AWAY!

And Dopefish <3333333333

I just want a comment after you play it, Jax.

And holy shit Amnesia, that's the kind of game I would play when the sun is at its highest and I have my back against a wall. Also James, you ever manage to finish Penumbra?

Need some good multiplayer and co-op games, preferably with bearable graphics.

No, I've barely played it. Might put some time aside later to get into the first one again.
