I thought they did a better job on the second one by a lot. The ability to combine weapons with plasmids made combat more seamless, instead of switching between weapons and plasmids.

I'm not sure that's possible.

@Arty: I restarted too. I was playing through with Tabitha because it's one of few games she actually enjoys, and we're not too far in.

I bought Bioshock 2 last September, and only got around to finishing it the other day.

It was better than expected.

How is the multiplayer for BioShock 2?

Doug - Since I'm done with Batman now, next in line was BioShock so I'm just going to finish that next (fuuuu yeah alphabetical order!).

Re: Dragon Age 2, Titan Quest and all things related

Nice. I'm going to be essentially done exams next week (I've got an easy one in a week and a half's time) so between biking, replaying Oblivion and reading books, I should find some time for Bioshock.

Though I do intend to replay Oblivion twice, as I want to have a "serious" character, and I want to see how quickly I can blast through the campaign. The last time I tried a seed run, I had finished about a third of the main quest in two hours.

Re: Dragon Age 2, Titan Quest and all things related

Yeah, I'm leaving Oblivion for now. I've got to finish my dissertation in the next 2 weeks and juggle that with gym and a little gaming on the side to finish some games. Then after I'm finished with my degree in May, just take a good break or a month or two and then git to finding work. ._. Stupid life and effort.

Re: Dragon Age 2, Titan Quest and all things related

New Humble Bundle, you pay what you want for this bundle you can go for $.01 if you like for these indie games.

http://www.humblebundle.com/

Bundle includes:
Trine
Shadowgrounds
Shadowgrounds Survivor
Upcoming game Jack Claw (includes source code)
Splot Pre-order

I personally will donate $5 since I don't have much on my account, all to charity.

Also the 3 games can be activated through Steam.

Oooooh, just got it. Only 3 of them activate on Steam, having to download the Jack Claw one now, hopefully once it's out of development (same with the other one) they'll both be available on Steam too.

Cheers brosef.

The hell?

Dino D-Day:

The year is 1942. Adolf Hitler has succeeded in resurrecting dinosaurs. The reptilian horde has trampled Europe and the Mediterranean. Can nothing stop the Nazi’s dinosaur army?
I can't decide if this counts as awesome, ridiculous or ridiculously awesome.

If you watch the trailer for it, you see a man punching a T-Rex in the face. Awesome.

Also FUUUUUU Half-Life, Ravenholm now, some bastard throws crabvaginas in my face and they take my life down to 1.

Here's some beta gameplay of Dino D-Day: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BVbpHgw8JVc

To me it's not worth the $20

Go for the GOTY one since it has all the DLC.

Re: Dragon Age 2, Titan Quest and all things related

Civ 5 may come on sale? Time to do a computer check.

So, all the talk about LAN games had me reminiscing. Anyone interested in the strategy based battle/warfare games? Thinking Age of Empires III (anyone played it?) or even a Command and Conquer. Would be up for vs or co-op.

Also, TF2... I should end up getting it sometime soon. I hear people like this game.

EDIT: Bah. Video card can't handle Civ 5. What a joke.
