Good chapter for mere set ups.

VD's obssession with the princess is now justified, I like this development. Her power is pretty terrifying, yet it would be very useful for anyone who travels the seas. Imagine what the WG would do to get to her should they learn this secret ?

She can get anyone through the calm belt with ease, even the marine ships aren't perfect in that aspect. Not to mention the massive attack force that the sea kings could provide.

Otohime has balls of steel.

That could have easily ended in her becoming a slave, yet she get some kind of
resolution out of thos bubble wearing fags.

I bet there is a catch. I don't know what impact VD's actions will have ( assuming he is the one who kills Otohime ) on this agreement, or if Hodi will have a hand on things that are happening in this FB.

So in this chapter we learn that Van der Dekken is a pedophile and that King Neptune was also useless back then.

Intersting chapter... I was really sure that the queen was going to die in this chapter... killed by the noble guy or someting... well i guess that's what Oda wanted us to believe ... no I really don't know how she'll get killed.... oh and the princess's power insnt it just haki ?

Otohime asked him not to come. I don't see that as being useless, specially after she asked him to trust her. Also, like someone mentioned during the scene the humans could have tried to capture him. Despite his massive strenght ( he can use water spear like Jinbei ), the humans have numbers and could have overwhelmed him.

Technically yes, but at least we now know that his interest in her wasn't sexual. He is still creepy though.

Shira's power is def Haoshoku just as Otohime was born with CoO. Waiting to see how VD fits into this and how the agreement broke down (since the tenryuubitos still hunt fishmen)

If you arrived at this due to the Tenryuubito passing out, then it isn't Haoshoku. He passed out based purely on fear of the island sized Sea Kings.

Going by VD's description of this power it's not haki at all. Remember how Jinbei summoned those whale sharks during the ID escape ?

This appears to be like that, only it is special because it works on sea kings. They are pretty much at the top of the food chain in the seas, which makes the ability to summon them all that more impressive.
