And nooo, I love Marvel. Just I never read too many comics as a kid, kinda only been getting into it lately, mainly read Marvel ones but I figure since DC is doing the reboot it might be time to give it a try.

I'm waiting to see if the Kindle Touch 3G makes its way to Canada. Given our history of bullshit cell providers and their miserly ways of managing 3G data, we may only get the Wi-Fi version.

That was my brother's reasoning for getting into comics as well, the new DC reboots. I will once in a while buy a graphic novel or something mentioned by a friend or Blair Butler on AOTS's Fresh Ink segment.

I honestly don't think you need to bother with 3G on a Kindle, I doubt I would even use the Wi-Fi much. It seems like the main function for it would be to download books off the Kindle store, but since I'll be transferring most as PDF's or if I buy any they would be through my PC then transferred over then it doesn't appeal to me too much. Though you might use it more I dunno.

Play Final Fantasy IV. Greatest FF of all time. In my opinion of course. It's not bogged down by all the cutscenes and slow progression that plagues the 3D iterations. You just go and kick some magical ass all over the world.

Honorable mentions go to III and VI. And out of the 3D joints, XII. Fuck what the VII and X weaboos say. XII had the best fighting mechanic and characterization. Story kind of drags on though.

Still not finished with it Dues Ex myself since i got it by the time i got me my ps3,which gotten me distracted by other games i longed to play.

i really don't think Duke Nukem deserves that horrible rating,it was entertaning and i enjoyed playing most of it. i mean it's fucking Duke goddamn.

I know full well that I wouldn't really use the 3G all that much, but for the fairly minimal cost difference I'd rather have the option. I think using it infrequently is preferable to regretting not having it.

Mal - Ah fair enough. I have a phone contract with unlimited internet in it so don't really need 3G too much in other devices. The one I might get is £109 and apparently the battery lasts 2 damn months... even if it manages 1 that's still awesome.

Darth - Plaaay it. Upgrade your Typhoon mod for easy boss battles.

And yeah, Duke was actually fun to play through. Once you beat it though you get to unlock cheats for it like having it run at double the speed with big headed enemies, so gonna give that a try.

That "2 months" battery life estimate is based on an assumed reading time of 30 minutes daily, so it still works out to a fairly impressive 30 hours straight reading time.

There is also the The Kindle Fire due out in the States next month. For less then $200, it might be a worth while alternative. Not sure when it ships to Canada/UK but I doubt it'll be long.
