The Longest Thread Ever v28 - Page 967

Yeah, the recent influx of bots is ridiculous. Also, I started today with $40 in my bank account, and I am ending it with $100 in my wallet and a fuckload of new Magic cards.

I helped my friend's girlfriend's mom move some sowing/store stuff from the previous location of the store she owns to the basement of her new house for $100 and a 15 case of Kokanee. That took 4 hours, so I basically made $25+3 beer/hour. This was split from the $200 she offered the friend of mine at first, and he split the payment with me in exchange for my help.

Once we were done, we went to our favourite local comic/games shop to pick up a box of the new Magic The Gathering set for us to split. We returned to his place to open our packs, play a few games and drink a few of the beers from our payment.

Near the end of our third game, I decided I was craving wings, so we went to Hooters and got even more beer there. After talking my friend out of stealing from Hooters a piece of the back of the bench on which he was seated, we went to pick up some cigarillos and smoked them on our way to the Club Regent Casino.

Once we got there, we both showed our ID to the woman at the entrance and made our way inside. Once inside, I quickly ducked into the bathroom for piss and when I emerged my friend had been joined by the woman who had let us in, and had been told by said woman he was too drunk to enter the casino. On our way out, he mentioned that this casino had 3 other entrances, so we made our way to another only to find out the bitch had radioed all of security to tell them not to let is in.

Having been told we were not allowed to give one casino our money, we went to another casino. We got in no problem there, despite the casinos being owned by the same company, and made our way to a $5 minimum Blackjack table. My friend ended up losing almost $300 (though he has at times won several thousand), and I ended up making $70, with which I was quite pleased for my first time ever in a casino.

tl;dr Made $25/hour for some easy moving work, then walked into a casino with $40 and out of it with $110. Kick-ass day.

I had previously smoked my supply of cigars, and no place open that late on a Sunday has real cigars, so I smoked what was available.

And I am hoping for Wales to take 3rd. Two awesome matches!

Edit: ACt, Kleeberger just sheared his beard for some kind of humanitary thing. Raised about 4000$ or something.

Yeah, we heard of it. Foot of manliness gone from this world. Sad day... but I think it may come back.

Hoping to take in the final but the times are always so screwy. If anything, I hope to ignore the result and catch a replay. And yeah... BOO FRANCE!!!
