Re: What book are you currently reading?

Last year around this time, I began the trek that was the Wheel of Time by Robert Jordon. This year, time to power through The Sword of Truth by Terry Goodkind. Book One: Wizard's First Rule.

Re: What book are you currently reading?

wow been awhile without updating here i see
well I havent gotten through feast of crows because of school
but as far as novels go
read Member of the Wedding
(hit or miss so I won't recommend it, really good social critics but man it drags at the start IMO)
and Currently half way through
The Road (its a travel narrative and again its all about the social critics that underline the story but much more entertaining)

Re: What book are you currently reading?

After witnessing three episodes of the utter terrible "Camelot" series, I have decided to finally pick up my copy of Sir Knowles "Legends of King Arthur" which was given to me so many years ago when I was young. Unlike the show, Arthur runs around smiting and fighting a lot of people as a young, strong, impressive teenage king. Why couldn't they have made THAT a tv show?

Also reading "Bearers of the Black Staff" book one of "The Legends of Shannara" by Terry Brooks. He really isn't trying any more.

Re: What book are you currently reading?

ohhh @ACt there goes hours of your life you'll never get back lol

I think Arthur in general suffers from what we saw in Game of Thrones they have to avoid fighting due to the sheer production cost (its alot of man power in make-up effects, horses and their handlers don't come cheap, or the combat choreographers to make it look good) its easier to not to film it
makes me worry about next season and the battle of Black Water

There won't be a next season because of scheduling conflicts with most of the major stars.

Re: What book are you currently reading?

http://winter-is-coming.net/

according to this their still announcing cast members and in regards to conflicts they where dispelled when it was announced taht in order to maintain chronological order many scenes in the last episodes of the season will include sections of book 3 and vice versa ( as there was in fact overlap between several chapters in the second and third books)
