I like the quick reflexes perk from the shield tree. Saved my life on Master more than once since it allowed me to bypass the power shot and get my opponent's back with a 25% chance of decapitation opportunity; I officially like those odds.

Anyway, started up New Vegas. Going OK for now. Wife really isn't into it because she views it as just more of the same rather than anything different at this point. I think she misses Dogmeat. Anyway, just dicking around trying to find someone who shot me... hoping something picks up soon because killing Geckos is getting old.

I used to shield at 1st but i hate,rather forget, opening the menu for potions during a fight so i had to give up shield for a fast healing hand.

ACt - Magic is always fun, unless you're on the receiving end. But yeah, if your wife misses Dogmeat, she'll be able to get Rex soon. He's pretty much Robo-Dogmeat. It does take a little while to pick up but it will do soon.

New Vegas is one of those games that you need to play once to appreciate. It's difficult to describe - once you realise how the game world fits together, and how awesome the writing is, it really grows on you. The characters are pretty well done for a vidya gaem.

My favourite is when you enter the Strip, the second part of it, there's a guy on the right that tells jokes and laughs at them himself. I listened to him for a good 10 minutes...

My favourite part of the game is the "For Aud Lang Syne" quest, with Arcade. Arcade's character and backstory are brilliant. Also, he's a well-written gay character, which is a rarity in videogames. I'm looking at you, Bioware.

When playing Morrowind one time, I used the Construction Set to make a ridiculous custom spell and set it as a standard spell for Wood Elves so that I'd have it right off the bat. The thought that other Wood Elves would have access to this spell didn't cross my mind until I was fighting a weak little Wood Elf bandit and suddenly found my health at 0 and the game prompting me to load a previous save.

Yeah! Demon's Souls is probably my favorite game in this generation of gaming console whatever. Such a great game. And yeah, pretty much all the NPC dudes were awesome. Biorr is all "Gah hah hah nap time" after kicking the shit out of vile penetrator demons like a badass. And the Maiden is hawtness. The multiplayer was pretty awesome back when I played it too, since it didn't use that p2p setup or whatever garbage shit they used for Dark Souls. Could easily team up with my bro to battle demons or take turns having honorable duels with black phantoms and even against each other without any trouble. The oldmonk boss battle setup was cool as shit too. Good shit.




Oh, my skyrim dude uses that big wuuthrad battleaxe, skyforge steel axe and ysgramor shield, and fists. No magic, but I do have leveled enchantment and blacksmith skills. Was just reading that I might be able to learn that fist power enchantment from those gloves and put them on better punching gauntlets, so pumped about that. And I only use that dragonrend shout and fus ro dah, because they're the manliest. I have daedric armor so my dude is basically videogame version of manly miburo dude in shrike's story. But I made that shit too good so I don't use it much. Usually just stick with that steel armor. Looks manly when your dude is jacked as fuck and has a sweet beard and a dead eye and a face scar.

I use that one companion archer babe a lot, Aela or some shit. Put some forsworn armor on her and bring her with me because I can't shoot shit and she's pro at shooting shit. Plus she's pretty hawt and is always pumped about hunting shit and didn't pussy out when I was doing that final companion quest thing like the rest of those pansies. Though I do like that one babe named something stone-arm because when I first walked into that companion mead hall she just started beating the fuck out of some elf dude in a fist fight.

Also lol forgive me this is my first TES game but I didn't level up any perks, I found about that just now, definitely got easier.

Amulet of Talos, or the Fortify Shouts effect (I'm not sure if this is actually available for Enchanting).

Yeah, I'm totally happy I saw that trailer you posted of Dark Souls. I hardly ever look for new games or give new games a try so I'm usually always late to finding awesome as hell games. For example, I played MGS4 before playing any of the other ones. But yeah, that trailer looked awesome + you were excited about it = probably awesome as hell. But I researched it some more because I'm a video game cynic. Anyway, it lead to Demon's Souls (not saying I didn't love Dark Souls either, fucking love that game as well).

Biorr is definitely badass. I was loling at how both he and the dragon were taking like 4 health points from each other. But it was awesome how during the boss fight the whole screen was shaking to let me know that he was still valiantly fighting the dragon.

Speaking of badass how about those goddamn blacksmiths? Fucking monsters. I fucked with Ed...I think his name is....just because the other one told me not to. Fucking beat me to death with his fists (or maybe he has brass knuckles or some kind of fist-weapons). And even in Dark Souls, that blacksmith with the awesome beard; awesome. His weapon was like completely natural or whatever and not enchanced...so it's strength came from how much fucking force he swung it with (seems obvious, like no shit PHYSICS MOTHERFUCKER, but in Dark Souls' world lightning and magic will take you a long way.) Blacksmiths must have like a 99 strength and dexterity stat.
Wax Maiden? I made her my girlfriend the instant I arrived at the Nexus. I was like "anyone causes you any trouble, tell me....I got this shit." Meanwhile I'm getting my ass whipped by pretty much anything that resembles a creature in the game. I'm a loser, lol.
Awesome. I could just imagine battling the Penetrator or Tower Knight on NG+++ with a bro in an epic battle.

Which was your favorite Boss fight? In Dark Souls as well.
