So I found a new way to get my nostalgia fix. Put an NES and SNES emulator on my Asus Transformer and some of my favorite roms. Works fantastic, but the touch screen controls are a little too clunky for action based games, and are only really suitable for puzzle/strategy/RPG. Fortunately, I was able to wipe the inch of dust off my wiimote, and connect that to my tablet via bluetooth and a free app from the marketplace. Fucking winning.

Worth the wait on that info drought, holy crap. Borderlands 2 looks fucking amazing.

I just hope we get more details on the Commando guy, since he seems like the least interesting of the bunch thus far. Hopefully he's got enough freedom with that turret and other features to stand out. Salvador is a badass, Maya seems fucking sick, and Zero, goddamn.

I think I'll definitely be playing Axton and Zero first, all 4 look awesome I think.

I've almost put in 100 hours for Borderlands 1 and I'll be playing a lot more of it until September, but once Borderlands 2 comes out I can see myself easily sinking a few hundred hours minimum on it.

Guild Wars 2, Darksiders 2, Borderlands 2, Torchlight 2. A lot of good 2's coming out this year.

Everything about that trailer, except maybe the background music (even then the Wub Wub joke was worth it), was freaking amazing.

The new enemy types were amazing, all the NPCs were amazing, especially the returning ones, the guns were awesome, the player characters, whose identities and abilities we've FINALLY learned, are goddamn badass, the settings were sweet, just, FUCK YEAH.

I am going to miss playing Mordecai though, it seems he's been replaced by a more stealth based ninja assassin type as opposed to long range sniper.

Regular CAD $699.99, was on sale for $550, and I used a rebate I had from my TV for an extra $300 off. All said, $300 for 7 speakers, 1000 watts and a sub that looks almost comically large in my small living space.
