Re: The Will of D
I think the Will of D is definitely connected to the Void century, the question is, is it connected to the winning or the losing side
I'd say the losing

Re: The Will of D
The Will of D is on "that" island...."that" island resides somewhere in our hearts.

Re: The Will of D
Here's a question, it looked like Gol D. Roger, simply walked up, and turned himself in, as if he was content with everything. His Nakama like Rayleigh wasn't apparent, and I don't understand that whole deal. Therefore is it a precursor that Whomever actually gains the One Piece, end up loosing all of theyre nakama, or a large majority?

Re: The Will of D
I think it was said somewhere that Roger disbanded his crew right before he turned himself in. I'm not 100% sure his crew knew about his intentions. I mean, they knew he was sick and all, but I'm not sure they knew he was going to turn himself in like that. Only person that's confirmed to have known about it beforehand was Whitebeard.
Edit: On a separate note, I do sometimes wonder if any of Rogers crew died on their journeys. Or if not were any of them hunted down by the WG after they disbanded. It just seems odd that no other "big name" crew members have ever been mentioned. I also suspect that Shakky has some past connection to the Roger pirates. Re: The Will of D
Quote:
Robin asked Rayleigh if he knew what the Will of D was, and he answered yes. But, he also told her not to hurry, walk the path with the SHs, find the info and come to her own conclusions. He also mentioned that, as she was at that time she wouldn't be able to change anything, the Roger pirates and the Ohara scholars were the same boat. Usopp asked if Roger intended to set off the great pirate era, and Rayleigh told him that he didn't know, and that answer died with Roger. That leads me to believe that Roger saw the true face of the world and could not change it. Since he was about to die of illness he set things in motion for that change to occur, this is further supported by WB's final words. I think that was Roger's aim.

Re: The Will of D
We really don't know what Roger was thinking when he decided to do what he did. It is very possible that he wanted to get the last laugh on the WG, by making them look like morons for thinking that they were going to terminate him and his legacy.
He pretty much burned his will in the minds of those whom dreamed of fame, fortune and adventure, while possibly setting the WG for a face plant. Long story short, he might have been trolling.
