Re: Games and all things related
I'm gonna enjoy it. But I'm not buying it new. I refuse to put money in the pockets of EA or Bioware. The Day 1 DLC bullshit has gone too far.

Re: Games and all things related
Ill agree with you on this dlc nonsense. I think they make more off that shit than the actual games nowadays.

Re: Games and all things related
I buy games new because I want at least some of my money to go to the people that made them.
Also because I have too much disposable income and skewed priorities. |

Re: Games and all things related
All I DO is ball out of control with new games. All day errrrrday. Its also easy to justify being as i only buy like a handfull of games a year. A game has to be damn good, or have a lot of replay value for me to even want to play it.

Other than that, all new games for me because greedy stores aren't cool, and the $5 difference is insignificant. |

Re: Games and all things related
Yeah, I'm pretty pissed at what EA/Bioware is pulling. Really, cutting shit from the main game then re-selling it as DLC to encourage revenue. That's just about as low as they could stoop. Seriously, I don't believe people sometimes. Didn't the devs of Gears have content that was on the disk but you had to pay money to unlock that shit? Nickle and diming us, man.

Damn. I was hoping for civil war so you could be the guy who shoots Lincoln.

Re: Games and all things related
Haha, oh man. That looks amazing.
Got high hopes for AC3, as the last two games were clearly side-projects. Hoping for the same jump of quality between AC1 and AC2. |

Re: Games and all things related
I just can't wait to assassinate someone with an axe.
ACt, who knows, with the way they went through 20 years in AC2, you might end up getting a few flashes of slightly more recent history to assassinations like that. I have yet to start on Brotherhood or Revelations but hopefully this weekend, should get them both finished before this one comes out then I'll finally be caught up. |

Re: Games and all things related
Doubt it. This is going to be about the rising frustrations of the colonists and they'll somehow put it in the vein that the British are now Templars (despite the British Empire at that point being Protestant) trying to control the minds of Americans, but that won't happen because FREEDOM!! Expect the Boston Tea Party, Ride of Paul Revere and a few other iconic moments to be redone with the help of the assassin indian who will be left out of history because he's an indian.
Wonder if there'll be anything about slavery. Anyway, makes some sense. Canadians didn't fight against the British and now are kind, friendly people. We're utterly brainwashed.

Re: Games and all things related
AC:3
I'm sold. AC has been my favorite game series out of all the one's I've played thus far. Went to gamestop to pick up Halo CE Anniversary and Halo Reach, saw Halo 4 is coming out. As well as Prototype 2. Both pre-ordered.
