Hmmm, another thing came to my mind..If Kabuto is a Sage already would switched bodies with Sasuke mess that up? Will it effect his ability to go sage mode with a different body?

Sage mode is more like that of knowing a jutsu than a genetic predisposition though in juugo's case his bloodline must have had a history of using sage jutsu. As for the switch in bodies, I think with kabuto having sasuke's body he would access to a larger pool of chakra but even if he had a monsterous amount of chakra it would still make sage mode difficult unless he has snakes with him while in sage mode since he still has yet to manage properly regulating sage chakra as opposed to naruto who has learned how to do it properly.

Yeah I was just wondering because Orochimaru and Jiraiya couldn't do it, so I thought it would almost be like a different person trying, but as long as he knows how I guess he could though

Just thinking...Juugo gave sasuke his cells when he revived sasuke during the killer bee retrieval arc...i think he said something like sasuke was compatible with his body...with that being said is it possible sasuke can absorb natural energy...Kabuto talked a lot setting up his jutsu im sure sasuke took all of that in...this would be a game changer if possible...just saying...(if someone mentioned this already…my bad)

Juugo's technique was made possible because sasuke had left over cells in him from when he had the curse mark. The technique that juugo used was probably similar to that of orochimaru's regeneration jutsu which requires him to essentially lose part of his own body to facilitate rapid healing. That is why his body reverted after the jutsu as he had given up part of his own body to help heal sasuke. As for sasuke using nature energy, he can't use it because he has not had the proper training to access that nature energy properly so he can't absorb any of it except through multiple sage animals to gather and regulate the sage chakra. Without either of those sasuke has as much chance of using sage chakra as sakura does. If sasuke is gonna get sage abilities he is gonna have to meet one of the sage animals I referred to a while back, sign a contract, convince them to teach him sage mode, and then spend all his time trying to learn something that jiraiya, orochimaru, and kabuto all failed to do. No sasuke will probably never be a sage cause quite frankly he has yet to make any of the proper connections with certain individuals or animals to make that happen. All the others have but sasuke has not.

I just realized that Jaraiya was te only one of the 3 that didn't care about immortality or being young. He excepted aging completely and embraced his death. A true Shinobi. R.I.P.

What would happen if Kabuto had Edo-Kushina as a back up plan to fight against the Kyuubi?

I have been saying for a while now theres a secret to sasukes body just like madara's which allows it to absorb others powers (like how madara absorbed his brother MS power creating the EMS and hashiramas as well). Sasuke must have this rare trait and kabuto knows it IMO. Absorbing the power of nature has already been shown by sasuke's mastery of CS IMO. And sasukes ability to use Oro's powers as well (Liquifying then back to physical for a snake hendge and super fast regneration abilities) which was in actuality karins and Suigetsu's abilities if I recall what kabuto said. And he was already using juugos as well before.

Meaning sasuke was using Uchiha, Juugos clan, Uzumaki and houzuki clans abilities back then whn he took over Oro and his powers. Clearly there is a secret of the body which will be explained in due time because sasuke has been using multiple clans abilities for a while now.

I have been thinking, for a while, that Sasuke and Itachi may be great grandkids of Madara. But I think that all Uchiha have special bodies, at least when related to Uzumaki, Senju, and the first sage. Like Uzumaki, and Senju, not all Uchiha get the special powers that the rest of their clans share. But they all share a genetic bond to the man with the eyes and the body, the 1st Sage. Some just share a stronger connection to him than others.

I was looking at the anime this week and thinking about this week's manga with Kabuto and his sage power.. and wondering if he'll ever get around to explaining what he did to Anko or if he used any of yamato's powers in any way.. hell he used the powers of Taka/Hebi and they aren't even around him .. surely he made good use of those within his grasp

He used Yamato to strengthen the Zetsu army, that's all. It's unlikely he tried to use Yamato's DNA for Mokuton since Yamato's Mokuton is vastly inferior to Hashirama's.

Because clearly, as Orochimaru's subordinate, he didn't have access to any research or any of Orochimaru's other subordinates.

THe part about Juugo and Suigetsu I can understand but I didn't think Karin would have been experimiented on.. I just thought she was capable of sensing chakra to see if anyone had escaped oro's prison

Her healing abilities were used to keep research subjects alive for much longer than they should've been during tests. Or did you not notice the dozens, if not hundreds, of bite marks covering her body?

yea i noticed those before but since the manga never said such I didn't want to draw a conclusion.. since that's kinda frowned upon around here

On another note I did have .. Just a thought.. I think I figured out where Sasuke got that hawk summoning from out of nowhere.

Juugo always talks to animals and from all I can remember it's always been a bird he's been talking to .. Maybe the Birds are his token animal and with him absorbing natural energy all the time .. he and his clan have access to the bird sage sanctuary and after juugo gave Sasuke some of his flesh and reverted back to a kid. Sasuke got imbued with cells and a body that would allow him to become a bird sage.

His body might have been predisposed to a bird contract since he grew wings when his curse seal was activated.

Being bitten to aid experiments is not the same as being experimented on or using "material" from that person in experiments.
