Where X is the post number.

For the post that i originally quoted it would look like this

That is what you get when you press the quote button.

4. Breaking up a quote

Now that you know how quotes work it all boils down to preference, how you want it to look like and how you want to do it.

One way of doing it is copying the latter part of the original quote [*/QUOTE] and then pasting it after each section you break up, write your reply, choose the text you want then paste it after that portion, repeat till you finish the go back and copy then paste the first part of the text at the beginning of each portion of text. Of course you can immediately copy and paste both parts of a poste so that you dont forget one in the end.

The end result would be something like this

[*QUOTE=minato uchiha;2118164]Ok Stubborn donkey,[*/QUOTE]
My reply 1
[*QUOTE=minato uchiha;2118164] how do you break it up please[*/QUOTE]

Another way of doing it would be to cut and paste the second part of the quote tag after the first section of text you want to seperate then write your reply select the second part and hit he quote button (it looks like a text bubble),if you do that without anything else the end result would be

To make it like the previous example (which wpuld be preferred, though not necessary ) copy the part that says who posted with the link to the post and paste it accordingly to the proper part in each first half of each quote tag. In my I would copy =minato uchiha;2118164 and paste it where the # is
[*QUOTE#] to get [*QUOTE=minato uchiha;2118164] (of course with the * removed)


Of course you can use any other method you like to get to the end result, but now that you know what the end rwsult looks like I think there shouldnt be any problems

I have a question guys relate to the chronology of the manga.

At the time obito dies in the kakashi spinoff, how old would have itachi been???

I'm thinking of writing a fan fic spin off introducing itachi as obito's replacement in that team but want to know how plausible it would be, timeline wise.

Just thought of something... As itachi explained, Izanagi and Izanami are a pair and opposite of each other. Izanagi offers the ultimate defense while Izanami offers the ultimate offense (I can only assume as its opposite).

Think about The MS and what it offers.

:Tsukuyomi, a genjutsu.

:amaterasu, a ninjutsu.

:both powerful opposite jutsu that when mastered and used together form SASANOO, the ultimate form of defense and offense for an uchiha.

By follwing this pattern and the fact Izanagi and Izanami are opposites like the original MS jutsu were too. I'm thinking there is an ultimate doujutsu of the SG that combines Izanagis ultimate defense with Izanamis ultimate offense to form the ultimate jutsu even greater then sasanoo.

And since Amenominakanushi and Kunitokotachi were the ones who summoned Izanagi and Izanami into existence and Kunitokotachi was of earth and Amenonminakanushi of heaven.

it prolly has something to do with EMS being a new light.. they had to use up their own eyes ability to filter light first ..most likely giving the ocular receptors enough practice and use to form the new kaleidoscopic eye..

I rather sure a whole new doujutsu which is the combination of Izanagi and Izanami will have side effects, but no blindness. Remember sasanoo had the physical effect of draining the body when over used which took life away from the user inevitably. However, over time kishi relaxes the side effects of haxxed jutsu to the point there is no side effects as we have seen now with sasuke use of a full complete sasanoo without even breaking a sweat much less his body physically being damaged from use of the jutsu.

By kishi's pattern we can easily imagine that kishi will relax if not take away most of Izanagi and Izanami's side effects as the manga goes on by some means.

I think the bijuu will pick their new Jinks IF Kishi keeps them around at the end.

Also did he trash the whole NEW SANIN thing that was foreshadowed?

Oh and lastly:

Naruto should be the oldest,long standing Kage since he IS Uzumaki AND host to Kurama. Self healing abilities usually leads to long life in things like this.

lolwut? Nothing like this has ever been stated...anywhere. The only thing remotely mentioned about Susano'o's side effects is it plays hell on the cells. Considering it's a being manifested by the user's chakra, this makes more sense than it drawing on the life force of the user.

Clearly sasanoo like nagato's deva realm power when over used causes physical damage to the body taking years away. Life energy is the energy that governs the life of each person in the narutoverse and what hashiramas power of body was based on (extremely powerful life energy), which is likely used when causing the user to shorten ones life in these instances because merely overusing chakra doesn't shorten life span and cause blood spitting. Just hospitalization like with kakashi when he overused his chakra...

Um...did you forget that Zetsu, who was watching the entire fight, commented that ALL of Itachi's moves were different? That wasn't from overuse of Susano'o, not even from overuse of the Sharingan.

Just a thought...

Kabuto seems to be hell bent on becoming just like the sage of six paths. He even mentioned that he was closer to the sage then anyone else...http://www.mangakong.com/manga/Naruto/582/5

I was wondering how the sage could have defeated the juubi before he had the RG. I assumed he was Uzumaki thus capable fo powerful seals to just stop the juubi and seal it away. However, that still doesn't seem enough. Judging by the shadowy figure and the resemblance to juugo. Perhaps RS was originally a dragon sage which is how he got the horns and tomoe.

And don't give me the "so they look alike, allot of characters do" argument when descendants of Uzumaki are marked by red hair. The same nose and hair texture could be enough, plus the horns too.

We know the RG is the ultimate doujutsu with 3 circles on the pupil, but no Tomoe. Perhaps the Tomoe and they're use came from RS's use of Ryuuchidou sage power's meaning the uchiha's fuuin on they're pupil for the SG originates from Ryuuchidou and why certain uchiha have special bodies like madara and apparently sasuke.

And the pattern around kabuto and Orochimaru's eyes is similar to a tomoe, but is likely a black pigmentation like naruto's due to the use of the Ryuuchudous natural energy IMO...http://www.mangakong.com/manga/Naruto/582/5
Perhaps this design just expanded on the RS to his chest with the six tomoe pattern.
And for some reason the Kyuubi Kuurama has the same tomoe-like design around his eyes too... It extends from his ear though. This may have nothing to do with the use of sage chakra in the kyuubis creation. But, allot of the bijuu have dark circles around they're eyes too (those in which u can make out they're eye, that is). We will see...
