CC mentioned that he can control gasses in a limited radius, the key is figuring out that limit and staying out of it. Luffy's range will come in handy, but CC will most likely have something to counter opponents that can stay out of his range.

but cc is pure gas... wouldn't he be faster? unless luffy needs a certain element like he did wen he fought crocodile..

His element doesn't give him a speed boost.

Luffy already proved that he is much faster and stronger than CC, which is understandable since CC is not really a combat oriented character. CC survives due to his intellect, which is why he disabled Law before any fighting even begun.

I expect CC to spring traps on Luffy, the lab is his home turf.

He has Haki this time now though, so that takes out the 'element' to fight him. Like now I'm sure with Haki he could punch the crap out of Crocodile now. So yeah with Haki Logia types can be hit around without needing to use water or anything.

i meant to say when luffy used water to attack croc.i forgot luffy has haki.. and i also forgot that luffy is immune to poison... but the part with law u said makes sense... he wouldn't need his heart if he knew how to kick mad ass,but he doesn't... he's just all brains
