When I first read it I thought I wish in the next chapter he slices that mofo and says to Yama 'thanks for distracting me old man'!
I was hoping yama's rage might even envogorate byakuya lol

Neway we know what Yama showing up against the main man means, he's gonna get defeated in a cheapass way (I.e. not in a fair fight, like sized tried to seal his powers) coz obviously we're not gonna be seeing his bankai.

He didn't seem intimidated by him but he it seems like he does recognize his strength as the real deal. Hopefully that clash is a good one. Although it'll probably end with Yamamoto either being killed or brought to near death and Ichigo magically powering up to match his strength which apparently can outdo that of an captain commander shinigami who's been at this game for over a thousand years. *sigh* I knew Kubo was going to "kill off" Kenpachi off panel so I didn't really felt like I got trolled much knowing what was going to happen.

Ken is still holding his sword, finshed characters, or even unconsious can't do that, a slash is coming.

Though kyoraku's the one i'm a bit more interested in. lets see his bankai. Also Ukitake, his shikai was using enemy's attack against them. wonder what his bankai will be..
