Re: Cooking Time
Uhm - we got ourselves cumin, some dry coriander, some turmeric, salt, a little cayenne pepper, a little cardamum, very small amounts of dried cinnamon, and some dried ginger - and just mixed it all together. We held a bit back on the turmeric, because we didn't know how much it would impact the final result colorwise. Turned out to be just fine that way.

Re: Cooking Time
Very nice. I have a few grams of saffron, maybe i'll add some of it instead of the turmeric to enhance the flavor and the color. Looking forward to cook that.

Re: Cooking Time
What's for dinner, you ask? This is what was for dinner..
My way of making "French Toast" - remember, fry it with the butter side DOWN! This way, you don't get an overload of unnecessary fat on your food, and it makes the bread taste like heaven <3 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() And that's how I make MY French toast <3 Last edited by TheBaron; 09-26-2012 at 03:29 PM. |

Re: Cooking Time
In 'merica that delicious thing is called a grilled ham and cheese sandwich. Which is a modified grilled cheese sandwich.
French toast is a breakfast meal akin to pancakes, both of which are inferior to waffles. |

Re: Cooking Time
I came. Butter-fried anything delicious.
The other weekend I made an Angus bacon-cheeseburger with a fat slab of cheddar and a beer. Best burger I've ever made.

Re: Cooking Time
"My" recipe? Buy and then throw some microwave-ready food in the microwave and cook it by pressing a few buttons. Shit, even if it's not "you can micro-wave this" in the directions I still might microwave it.
The only thing I make outside of "micro-food" is pasta. Boil some noodles in water, boil some ragu sauce. And every time I do that I feel as if I really, really accomplished something.

Re: Cooking Time
Here's what I made over the last 2 days:
1st off: We have fried noodles with a vegetable mix of Haricot Verts (green beans), Carrot, onion, red and yellow pepperfruits, and some more stuff I can't remember. (Same veggies goes for next dish! This dish was also made with Garlic-fried Tiger-prawns! (They were on sale, so not expensive at all) Everything is also fried in Soysauce, Chilisauce and a little oil. ![]() 2nd. We have some fried duckbreast, marinated in fresh garlic, soysauce, hot chilisauce and garlic oil - and fried in the marinade. ![]() Next, we have a mix of said veggies and the noddles, frying in the leftover from the duckbreast, whilst the fuckbreast rests. ![]() Put together, this is what it looks like plated ![]()
