His sweetest battle was vs. Luffy over the Going Merry. Luffy wasn't in his league, but the pre planning, attack plan was awesome given his weak status at the time, and lack of a true 'fatal weapon' to attack with.

On the Noah note, for someone that has read manga for a while one can tell that ship will belong to Luffy and the SH Crew, and will be a part of the final battle vs. WG with AT LEAST Vivi and access to Pluton, as well as Shirashowa with access to Neptune weapons respectively. With Obviously also a huge crew of allies created along the way. I could see Croc, Aoki, Big Face and the Fags, possibly his Dad, Dragon as well with a large crew of the Revolutionaries. This time the WG will crumble, it almost did before Whitebeard. Take away BB, and I must say Akinau as well and everyone walks away scott free... except for Oars Jr. The only person I've seen Don couldn't cut, or control was Croc to date.

Yes I agree...even when Neptune said it must remain intact and for the purpose of HIM! I am assuming whoever the "D" person is...it will be Luffy.
With so much room for growth before Luffy becomes a Royal Warlord or even one of the Four Great pirates...Luffy needs to start adding more people into his crazy mix...only bad thing is unless Luffy builds alliances with other Pirate crews I don't see him adding a plethora of crew mates in the next year or two years. Tops maybe three more people within a two year period. Just I don't see the expansion that we should already be seeing...Hopefully Jimbei, Monet, Fire Fox joins the crew with the Dragon....We will see...but I def agree that NOah will be a huge addition come the next "War" Like saga....

Jimbei yes, the next new addition, he'll need help with Big Ma. Monet, I'm calling her out as Don's actual Sister by the way she talked, and the same 'licking the lips' like Don. Dragon Done, he didn't make it past the last manga chapter. And Firefox strikes me as merely an 'ally' that will have his own path, that will meet up like WB and his MANY Allies that showd up at Marinford.

Note WB had a lot of help, but not all there were considered his actual crew, just allies, including Oars Jr., Dude that stabbed WB that was duped by Akainau, and many others.

Vivi because of her status as Princess can't actually BECOME a true member until that last ride on the Noah. Something bad is going to happen to her Father the King in the future to put leadership in her hands.
