That begs the question, if Isshin is a Shinigami, obviously his mom would be Quincy if Ichigo is part Quincy. If that's the case, how did she get taken out by Grand Fisher?

This was a horrible chapter...like WTF happened..I hate the way Kubo draws at times....Also the scanlation was bad..can't wait to see it cleared up a bit and sharpened..anyhoo so Ichigo is possibly a Quincy..been there done that...made into an ally? Hmm...wondering now could it be possible that Ichigo's mom could be sister to Ishida's father..maybe that could lead as to why he and Isshin have been so buddy buddy...(outside the fact that their kids kick more ass than they currently do...they have that in common...)

Seriously, Who thinks that taking Ichigo to the white castle turning him into one of them (and hopefully in the process maybe returning his hollow powers to him) would have been a MUCH BETTER WAY TO GO KUBO!

This chapter was so off the wall insane, I surprisingly found Bleach more enjoyable than Naruto for the first time in over a year.

For awhile now, I've had this sneaking suspicion that Ichigo is somehow the Spirit King. Shinigami powers, Vizard powers, Arrancar powers (the thing that smashed Ulqiorra was basically his Resurreccion), Hygyoku level powers, Fullbring powers, and now Quincy powers? C'mon, son! It's like he can duplicate the power base of whatever he encounters without limit provided the situation is urgent enough to force it out.

The ability that makes Quincy lose their powers?

Those aren't canon.

Cause his Hollow powers already had a handle on that. They're gone now though.

Uryuu was still able to see an incomplete Arrancar and fight it with the Quincy bag of goodies after he lost his powers. If she had lost her powers with the Final Form, she would've still been able to see that Grand Fisher's "lure" was a hollow trick.

Yeah, but they've been suggesting this arc that Uryuu is far more powerful than he's been letting on. It could just affect some differently. Ichigo's powers were completely shutdown yet Isshin always seemed aware of what was going on.

Isshin never stated that he actually used the Final Getsuga. It's only been implied. He could have used one of the gigai Urahara designed that's similar to the one he gave Rukia in the very beginning (which makes sense, since Isshin gave up his powers 20 years ago and Urahara was banished 100 years ago).
