Hinata the Jean Grey of the Narutoverse??...where did you get the nerve to say that lol? Taijutsu users, shit Guy, Lee, Neji, Naruto would be the ones to stand up in that bout. Naruto with sage mode can fight extremely well. If anything Tsunade is the Jean Grey..the constant rising phoenix that never fucking dies.....I don't think anyone from Rookie 9 will perish...maybe one Jounin but thats it...I want to see what exactly "Juubi isn't in full mode yet means" and also "When the whole I am the reincarnation of the sage" will be put into works. Also damn Naruto needs to get into sage mode and boost his jutsus. Base mode ain't gonna amount to shit.

Well, for all practical purposes Neji killed Hinata the first time they fought, if I remember correctly, her heart stopped. Then Pain pretty much killed her, add in filler episodes and there's one or two more "practically" dead moments. She's nowhere near Jean's record, but the manga's only been going 12 years, and she's a minor character. In terms of sarcasm and facetiousness, the comparison works.

And yes, you are correct. There are many other taijutsu users who will stand up to Madara, I just foresee another Hinata almost dies moment. The relationship hints Kishi's been dropping recently almost demands something happen with her. However my prediction track record is about 40-60, so a betting man would put money on me just be totally wrong.

So this was merely a set up chapter... Other then the same old spouting of clich'e nonsense, I enjoyed seeing the alliance fight together using a strategy of a nara... Knowledge of the enemy is worth 100 platoons of fodder shinobi... And they know it all so even with such ridiculous hax they have a damn fight on their hands....

Madara is too damn arrogant IMO... I really cannot wait to see him brought down a peg... Hopefully it's sasuke to do it though because I am tired of hearing naruto's constant ramblings...

I would offer wine to go with the cheese of this episode but I see already plenty of wineing has gone around already. To be honest I suspected kishi might do this since basicly having each person do an individual attacks in different ways would be like watching a death star battle or the light sabre battle royal in the star wars episode 2. You can't possibly give space to everyone's favorite and with so many people its tough to draw all of it at once. This is why kishi is instead using the combined jutsu method since technicly combined jutsu is much stronger than individual jutsus. As for the laser circus guys and other rare techs being used in large supply, remember that this war is a combination of hundreds if not thousands of shinobi. I didn't see hundreds doing the laser circus but if you got many people odds are fairly certain you got a fair chances of have a few people with the same blood line limit even if there is no direct connection to each other. Besides lets also not forget that these villages love to steal techs from each other. Either way this chapter could have been far worse. It could just be naruto trying to talk no jutsu his way into obito turning on madara though I suspect this will likely happen with in a few chapters. Either way Im satisfied and Im glad you all are enjoying your cheese and crackers opps I almost forgot, the wine too. Too bad its not a good vintage and instead sour grapes.

I kinda like the new face that Naruto has developed during his battle with Madara, you know that 'Damn I thought Sasuke was tough, these fucking Uchihas, I can't get rid of them, all of them have some kinda trick, or move that thwarts even my strongest attacks!'.

Some characters are very inconsistent. Obito went from juvinille, to Leader of the Akatsuki barking orders, back to juvenille, then back to scolding Madara??? Madara went from I'm such a beast, and bored vs. everbody, then Kages, then initially vs. KB/Naruto/Kakashi/Gai/Hachibi/Kyuubs, to these guys are tougher than I thought, to your attempts are useless, to I'm impressed with the new shinobi world, to but again its useless??? Confusing a bit huh? Characters in need of meds to correct mood swings?

Could it be that Madara thinks he's at the finish line and they're are no more challenges after if he succeeds so he's playing around as long as he can enjoying the last dance?

Being able to use jutsus in quick action and again harmoniously due to Nara. Though still...his acknowledgement was at an level of zero..Arms have been crossed almost since his entrance. Hell yeah he is bored...the only one I could seem his truly recognizing would be Obito...

I think Naruto has a plan. when he gets down there with Madara and Obito, they will do something that counters the entrance. After wards Naruto will do something that shocks both sides.

overall i liked it, the cloud village ninja specialty is lightning attacks by the way, it's not implausible for 7 or 8 ninja to know laser circus,lol. It's Black Lightning that only one of them knows.

The Sarutobi clan is a welcome surprise, they are probably all bad ass in their own way. Far as where were they, they were never mentioned as being lost or extinct. Why did someone assume they were?

Konohamaru's Dad and Mom are obviously NOT ninja, heck he probably has a sister or brother,lol.

be a nice touch to see all the clans INSIDE Konoha display some jutsu. I mean they have every elemental base within it.

The Hatake clan would be a nice one if Kakashi wan't the LAST one.

HA! His plans always consist of spamming clones or Rasengan. I doubt he's going to be doing anything particularly special when he does something.

Otherwise, I didn't mind this chapter. I mean, I remember fuck all about all the different techniques and bloodline limits and whatever, so I wasn't bothered. Shikaku's shaming Shikamaru, which is awesome. Everyone working together, which is cliche, but awesome. I'm looking forward to seeing how it all falls apart.

Konoahamaru's parents are terrible then..if they are alive and his guardians. Part 1 it seemed as though the third was his guardian. Part 2 it seemed Tsuande, Naruto, his Sensei took on the role of "family". Idk maybe its his slight loner personality. Shit there were very few interactions that I can remember between Asuma and his nephew.I just don't remember parents ever being mentioned lol. Sarutobi are shitty relatives it seems.

Well Konohamaru has a strong personality and will, besides his grand father was Hokage. Pretty sure he was safe to walk the village during the day.

In Part II he is an actual ninja so the whole Mommy and Daddy thing wouldn't apply. Asuma wasn't a main character and neither was Konohamaru, no telling what they did off panel. I am sure he taught him something, hell the kid was in a position to learn A LOT of jutsu at a young age. Considering his Grand Dad and Uncle. It seems the whole clan learns fire element jutsu though.

Well in the world of ninja you don't really focus on parents to much. you ever seen Lee's parents or Tenten's?The only parents ever seen are fellow ninja, such as Kiba, Shikamaru, Ino etc. Hell I think we might have seen a speech bubble form Sakura's mom once,lol.

Just saying details family ties and interactions aren't always shown. When the last time you seen Hinabi and Hinata play together?
