But...

: the pupils and eye design are exactly alike...

: Kabuto, Oro and the kyuubi are all connected to the use of nature energy...

: Kabuto and Oro through senjutsu of the Ryuchidou and the kyuubi through being the largest piece of the juubi, a being of pure nature energy... thus a smaller piece of nature energy...

: Sage mode does have certain traits.... pupil change and pigmentation around the eyes is another... and both kabuto and kyuubi have the exact same traits (pupils and pigmentations)...

Clearly, IMO, there really could be a bigger link between the two then symbolism... Like... The kyuubi draws upon the same nature energy or uses it the same way as kabuto and Oro do... Thus both have the same dragon/snake eyes with tomoe pigmentations...

That is what I think.... I agree it could merely be symbolism though... I could simply be over analyzing it...

I'm not going to get to deep into this, but as I read this post something came to mind. Frogs/Toads are supposedly very sensitive to nature...so much so that even small changes to their natural environment can effect them greatly. Snakes are likewise reptiles, but as far as I know not so sensitive. So...if nature = power...then toads would be more in tune with that power. Don't know how any of this ties into anthing thats happening in the current storyline though...yup.

Um...the markings on Jiraiya's face are NOTHING like Tobirama's. Jiraiya's marks focus around his eyes, while Tobirama's are on his cheeks/jaw line.

J-man would have to be around Hurizen age if he were Tobirama's son. Plus i don't think he would sneak a peek at his cousin(Tsunade) . I wouldnt be surprised if he was an Uzumaki though, he is pretty versed at seals. He has the chakra pool associated with them at least.

By the way...
I think Sakura may be the key to Sasuke fighting the Uchiha curse. I mean Kishi must have a reason for her to still be around.

After reading several of KYF's arguments with.... well, everyone else, I am beginning to think that only a descendant with the "body" of the Sage can house the rinnegan. Think about it... the only four people to have the rinnegan have been Rikudo himself, Madara, Obito, and Nagato. Excluding Rikudo, Madara and Obito have Hashirama's DNA in their bodies now, meanwhile Nagato was an Uzumaki (long distant relative of the Senju).

Using this info, in order for Sasuke to achieve the rinnegan, he would need the DNA of the "body" of the Sage, and I know where several of you are heading with this in your minds in regards to Naruto. But he's bitten Karin several times, so thusly, he should have some form of DNA of the body of the Sage. Plot device powerup coming up peeps.

If this has been stated before, please ignore. I didn't want to go back through the pages to verify.

I think when Dan died & Tsunade was basically not around much after that, She got pregnant & had Minato. Gave him to Dan's family to raise which is why he got the Namikaze surname. But I think the surname is from Dan's mother because his dad might have been Uzumaki since Dan covers 2 of the 4 traits to be Uzumaki: Powerful-Lifeforce- & maybe 3- Sealing; in the sense he had great knowledge of it.
But even if it turns out he isn't Uzumaki, I still believe the rest about his relation to the 4th & Tsunade. Jiraiya promising to train him & to keep it all a secret is feasible too. & you know the 3rd would be okay with this. She really might be Naruto's Grandma! Dan is his grandfather!! You never know. lolz

Already been discussed. Tsunade is too young to have had Minato. She would've been between 11 and 15 to have had him and be the age she is now (54).

Well I have the 4th being 38 now making him 6-7 years older than Kakashi which makes sense since he had to be in his 20's when he became the youngest Hokage'. And if he would be 38 now then she would have been 16 actually & that IS feasible. But you are right.
But at the same time I could still be right because the one thing Kishi has fucked up in general -which is why these debates keep happening with vigor- is the freakin' Naruto Timeline period. Can we say Retcon? 8)
