Ok I didn't really want to comment on this bullshit but comeon Hinata is nothing but a creeper stalker chick no matter how you look at it. To sit here & seriously try to argue about how a stalker chick & the dude who doesn't even acknowledge her existence make the "perfect couple" is absolutely preposterous. The pairing in & of itself makes no fucking sense. Kishi himself stated that he's bad at romance which is obviously why avoided the issue for years. This whole NaruHina bullshit is just some weak attempt to please the fan base since for some retarded reason people actually like Hinata(again weird stalker chick). It fucking took the "death" of a character Kishi hasn't used since part one to even drive the issue which is just fucking sad. Neji died for the sake of shipping.

The only way NaruSaku happens now is if Hinata dies (and I'm sure we're all in agreement, NaruSasu will happen before NaruSaku). And even in that case, I would rather NaruTen happen before NaruSaku.

Never thought of that, but spot on. The simple inversion of the plot twist would actually make much more sense, with the bonus of not being in the current situation of having the two villains acting like a disgruntled married couple.

Yes, NaruHina is badly written as Part II writing added with the inadequacy of Kishimoto on romantic writing, but it's less badly written than NaruSaku by miles. I AGREE that SasuNaru would be the best pairing writing-wise, but as I said before, Kishimoto won't do that because the Narutards would eat him alive. So, either you like it or not, NaruHina came, saw and conquered the Naruto pairing throne.

If Tobito had been written with more connection to Naruto and Kakashi than to Sasuke it wouldn't have been as utterly painful to watch happen. It doesn't even make sense for Tobito to have been so obsessed with corrupting Sasuke, at least not with the purpose of "proving the Uchiha were totally right and hatred is so much stronger guiz" by planning for Sasuke to win. Where was this drive to crush the idealism of the person he saw himself in before, when that would have been such a better goddamn plot point and a less half-assed "clue" of the twist to come. Where the hell was his flat-out immeasurable rage at Kakashi and determination to just destroy him on every level before? Tobito didn't even give a shit about Kakashi before the mask came off. I mean what the hell was the fucking point of the "Tobi is corrupting Sasuke ohnoes". It doesn't strengthen the narrative in the slightest with Tobi being Obito.

Kishi is really coming thru the last few chapters, he is putting to rest alot of of debates people have had thru out the years over the manga. The 4th being Naruto's father was the first big debate he put down next came Obito now its all but a certainty that Hinata & Naruto hooking up debate is headed for the same fate.

Overall it was a nice chapter but how the 8tails kept is head was a bit confusing at first but now that I thought about it would make sense because the shockwave from the blast would have expelled 8tails rather quickly making it possible for 8tails to exit b4 10tails could use him as a chew toy.

On a side-note the Naruto & Sakura gang have been pretty quite. Maybe they have come to accept that Naruto & Hinata hooking up was always Kishi's plan and he was simply using Sakura as a misdirection tool until he came up with a way to put Naruto & Hinata together in a spectacular sort of way.

Even the pro Sakura people gotta admit Hinata has always been head over heels in love with Naruto from the first time she made appearance in the story. Sakura on the other hand hated Naruto for a good portion of part one and then if anything she started acting more as a sister rather than a romantic interest for the rest of part one and most of part 2.

You know what, IMO, what really made this so screwed up (tobi=obito) is the actual Kakashi Gaiden itself that presented Obito as a true hero and having died a hero's death... Setting up many plot holes kishi is not able to rectify making this who thing even worse...

If the Kakashi Gaiden was never shown and only some vague references to how kakashi got his SG and what happened to obito... The person he got it from... was only said a couple time before this, I think it would of been better and made more sense when tobi was revealed... Obito could have been any kind of person... already strong and not lacking size which would take care of allot of plot holes left in the story...

imagine, without any real knowledge of obito Uchiha, only knowing him as the guy who gave kakashi his eye and was supposed to of died... When Obito was revealed as tobi... It would have been something good, giving the opportunity to learn about obito, what happened back then, ect ect...
kishi doing the Kakashi Gaiden before part 2 and not after Tobi's reveal as obito was his biggest mistake...

First of all I'd like to restate that I am a longtime NaruHina subscriber and I still think Kishi owes us a flashback of Naruto talking to Hinata soon after she professed her love for him, oh so very long ago.

Secondly, I'm really not sure about the significance of the two of them pairing up now.

I do believe that Hinata has potential to be among the strongest of female shinobi, sure...it would be nice to have some proof to that point, but all Kishi has given me is that she has at least faced Pain/Nagato. (Yes I remember, it wasn't pretty)

All I can come up with is the old reference that Hyuuga can increase the flow of chakra as well as stopping it, which to me says that she theoretically could manually open Naruto's Chakra Gates the way Guy does and make him much more powerful than he currently is.

Presumably the Kyuubi could feed Naruto enough chakra to sustain the technique, and heal him enough to keep him from dying
