I actually was bothered by the emotion Zaraki felt. He looked up to her, and hates how she fights him. He has gotten weaker over his time spent with the 13 Gotei. So much that their previous battle she didn't have time for her tricks. BUT THE FUCKING TEARS THOUGH! COME ON SON! I DISLIKED THAT! Idk kinda killed the character that I have come to love. She put so much fear in him he thought he was stabbed..DAMN! I did enjoy the small message Kubo was trying to state. Just curious if Kubo has the balls to kill off one of the two "Kenpachi" Captains they have left. I also loved her rather dark dialogue. Kubo was right when she lets her hair down..this bitch becomes crazy lol!

Holy cheeseballs could it be that the statment unohana said about not having time before to use those tricks mean that kenpachi was stronger before, and perhaps the sin she talks about may have to do with her wounding him so bad he has a sort of amnesia about his past??!?

If this is so kenpachis powerup might be more along the lines of remembering or retrieving what has been lost!

Yes....he has gotten weaker.....no, IMO I don't think amnesia. He is also still using one handed swordsmanship. As he was trained by Yama to use two handed attacks..he was shown to be so powerful Yama stopped training him. His power is in his hands...remember when he fought that Arancar in Hueco Mundo (minitri spl?) He beat him by using a two handed attack. Unohara(spl) even says his weakness pretty much is in his attack. His powerup will be simply bankai...he never tries to communicate with his Zanpackto (spl lol). That is also the issue, he has zero bonds with his sword. He believes in his own strength. The very issues Ichigo is being taught right now..Once Zaraki matures into the true art of fighting/killing..he will improve greatly.

This wasn't just killing intent from what I can see.
She got blood on her face from slicing his throat and she still had it after. Something just happened there, question is what?
Is it her bankai?
Is it the Kenpachi curse?
Plus that comment about getting stronger each time you pass through deaths door...I'm not sure I like where this may be going.

Visually in manga, this sucked, period. Give me the backstory to explain the Broads past, during the beginning you couldn't even tell what weapon she had, or what the fuck was going on besides.... 'slash'. The even worse part is the trash will never be seen in anime, not even Yama's demise, so were stuck with this.

Exceptional souls are gathered around Rukongai outside of seretei. Some zanpaktou's are unique based on their strength. Toshiro is one example, I forgot his zanpaktou's name, but they were paried, he was not born of his soul, because Toshiro has ice abilities.

From this chapter I would wager Zaraki and Unohara's first fight was where she unlocked her bankai, where you could not die in her presence, either that or he found out he could not die and that is why he is so aloof when he fights.

Toshiro didn't get paired with Hyorinmaru. He was discovered because his dreams of hyorinmaru were causing him to drop the local ambient temperature. He met hyorinmaru in his mind, in his dreams. If you go by the movie with him and his friend unlocking hyorinmaru, I suggest you think again. The movies aren't canon.

Yeah, some precense was noticed at least momentarily by Ken, but he put the shit to the side to keep fighting. Obviously the Broads' so fast thats why he's not attempting the 2 handed slash though. Ken isn't the 'fastest' of all the Death Gods, he's just a tank with a bloodlust and madcap power.

Meh...Kenpachi "crying" didn't really bother me. It's not like he was bawling. It was a pretty decent chapter as far as the fighting was concerned. Although they're just fighting each other, I don't see a lot of "teaching" happening. Yamamoto actually taught him a sword swing when he was training him. I guess this is true DBZ fashion of training I guess (on top of being in a hyperbolic time chamber type of place).

Yeah, and the set up was false, Ken freely swung his sword in Hueco Mundo, this wasn't the only place he could. Prolly the only place in the SS, but who the fuck in Hueco Mundo still living could be a problem with them fighting there. Its obviously empty, the Quincies flushed that toilet before coming to the SS. And since they just walked in at will, on a whim, whats to stop them from coming now, so being in Hueco Mundo wouldn't matter.

Flashbacks are coming people. Just be patient. It should already be kinda apparent what it's going to be. There's a reason Zaraki named that little brat he always carries on his shoulder Yachiru after all. Him and Unohana obviously have a similar sort of relationship.

I bet it's kind of like a Sasuke/Itachi type of thing where she could mercilessly kill anyone she met in her past, but was too attached to Zaraki to bring herself to kill him, and now she's pretending to go back to her blood lust past self to set up the "I'm the wall you must overcome" trope.
