ok so we finally saw a glimpse of Zaraki's partner....he will soon achieve bankai, Unohana is fucking dead....damn you Kubo.....correction fuck u Kubo. Ichigo fails at beating the Asauchi and is basically sent back to the drawing board...to face his roots...learns about his family tree I am assuming....decent chapter..just ruined the mood with her dying..I thought when she giggled she would say something like "SIKE" but hey......

To everyone claimig dudebro Zaraki was talkig to in that flashback with the voice of his sword, that face was the 10th Kenpachi (he's seen in the databook). That was probably when Zaraki became the new 11th division captain.

So Zaraki killed this Kenpachi in a one on one fight to become to new 11th division captain and also the new "Kenpachi".

Gosuke Kiganjō was the previous Kenpachi...who served alongside Love and the Visoreds/Captain over a century ago. Confused though because wasn't Unohana still Kenpachi then? Who could of beat her? Also when Urahara was being sworn into Captain-hood Gosuke Kiganjō was missing at that time. Gosuke Kiganjō then loses to Zaraki in front of 200 members. He was belittled as being lazy and piggish. Which is in return funny due to the Bount Arc.

Maki Ichinose mentioned Kiganjō as a man who believed in justice much like himself. Maki was deeply attached to Kiganjō. (LOL)

Back to my original thought though...

Timeline doesn't make much sense...considering Unohana has been Kenpachi I thought from recent flashbacks since Zaraki was a child.

No I did not....Kubo has had Unohana's dialogue stating as if she was passing the torch of Kenpachi. As if she still maintains the title. She says that the title never officially changed hands? Her whole point of dying was so there were not two Kenpachi's. Also in part awakening Zaraki's latent abilities/bankai. If she is the first as it's stated how the fuck was she beaten if she was the second strongest Kenpachi to Zaraki? She has Kaidou and she is simply a beast one on one. I just find it odd by Kubo's failure of writing.

She was never killed off though she was beaten and some fodders took the title ten more times until Zaraki?


Though agreed I should not have placed her in the eighth position as she is "The First" ..though if you read what I had next to it...how did she lose? Or did she relinquish it.

She likely relinquished it when she realized what happened with Zaraki and that she wouldn't have a fibre like that again.

I don't recall you stating that she relinquished her title before I said it... and IMO it's not due to what she did to Kenpachi...as she realized he at that age Zaraki already surpassed her. Even if I poised two questions...You are obviously agreeing that it is possible she relinquished her Kenpachi title.
