My thoughts about this ?

The japanese fans might be able to take it for what it is, the western fans on the other hand.......no, just no. It will do nothing but divide the fan bases even further with vs shit storms making the anime community even more shitty.

I think it's a sneaky way to boost the popularity of DBZ and Toriko with One Piece as bait. That's how I take it at least. I agree how this will not do well with the American fan base for the same reasons.

That too. Jump is pushing Toriko every chance they get, yet the series isn't doing that well ( Not surprising to me, it's pretty much a wrestling show at this point ). They even have a DBZ x Toriko x One Piece crossover anime special this month.

The last Toriko x One Piece crossover was pretty stupid. At least the anime versions have been. The manga cross version was decent. Either way, Jump needs to put the Dragonball series to rest even if it is Toriyama writing the moving to redeem the series from the failure that was DBGT.
