Re: Games and all things related

I heard it was re-released on GoG recently, I think. People were saying it was really good, might check it out.

Just going to say I still respect Shrike. We'll leave the rest for another place.

So, in a brief period of freedom, trying to get through AC Revelations. Uh, what's the point of the whole Altair flashbacks? They are so utterly pointless.

Random assassin: Give us the Apple.
Altair: You cannot have the Apple.
Random Assassin: Give us the Apple or we'll kill someone.
Altair: You cannot have the Apple.
fighting.

I kinda hate that comment. Leaving it for another place means nothing. If you had something to say you should have said it. Not gonna say anything about that mentioning of respect.

No just leave it be man, I think we all now have a pretty good idea where everyone involved stands on feminism and gender differences. No reason to try rehashing it here and now.

I am fucking pumped for Bioshock Infinite. I nearly pre-ordered it while at a bar/lounge/pub/eatery tonight after seeing a commercial for it, but realized I probably won't be playing it any time soon so I'm going to wait a while. No multiplayer so no rush to buy it and play with friends, I am okay with this.

Re: Games and all things related

Yeah, the comment was to appease the topic of this thread, so letting it drop because video games. Certainly, it'll come up again.

I'll admit the other was a bit backhanded because you told me I was taking your point too seriously then proceeded to say I was wrong (at least, that's how it read). Can't really have it both ways.

Really looking forward to Bioshock as well. Will wait to get others opinions on it before I buy but it's near the top of the list of games to play in between more runs of Mass Effect.

Yeah, it's been that way in all MT Framework games. I can forgive it because it's such a godlike engine.

Re: Games and all things related

Smite needs some work, but has great potential. A mix of League of Legends gameplay, in World of Warcraft perspective.
Tribes is a little tricky to figure out, and might need a little work - but in general, it is a really good FPS game, considering it is f2p.

TERA is updating, and since I am going to bed now, I hope it is done later on, so i can try it out along Planetside 2.

I had a lot of fun playing xcom, but I think the game had some definite flaws.

Re: Games and all things related

I couldn't get over how stupid difficult it got after a point. I wanted my soldiers to be in tip-top shape, have the best gear, and have loads of money, but the alien attacks were relentless and I had to rush to finish the game before all of the countries gave up. Plus, once you start researching new tech, the aliens already have bigger guns.

A challenge worthy of any OH comrade.
