Naruto is extremely popular and it only seems to be getting bigger and better as it goes on...I like the Naruto for the diverse storyline and the large, interesting cast of characters who are all intriguing individuals...I enjoy the great amount of detail put into the Naruto universe...from the way the characters act and dress down to the general scenery of their world.

So what is it about Naruto that makes you like it so much?

i like all the jutsus and stuff kakashi the sharingan and the stuff you cant find in shows here in u.s. cause we got some stuff but its more like comedy thats why i like naruto

I like the BLOOD action the blood and humor. And some romance ...and the BLOOD ..and parts where it is depressing ( i cried where haku and zabuza died )

Ofcourse @ Lavadranzer...it's good to understand why you enjoy something. Lots of people dislike Naruto...I just wanted to know the exact reasons why the fans do like it so much.

well i only just got the first 13 episodes in a box set, so i dont know as much as the rest of you all as they are the only ones i have seen except the first movie, but i guess it will keep me going at this speed till i have to retire!


but anyway, i like the characters and their individualness,

i like the music, it is an odd mix, but it works really really well,

i like the universe, everthing seems to have been thought of

i like the atmosphere

i like the subtle mix of humor and action

and thats all i can think of so far! basically everything except sasukes emo attitude! please dont flame me for that one!

I forgot to add that...I absolutely love the music from Naruto...I haven't liked music from some like that since FFVII AC and Guilt Gear.

You should try getting episodes off of limewire or something, L337 Lemming.

well:

1. the characters: they're all so memorable (like Hinata)
2. the fighting: usually fast-paced, some drag on
3. waiting for new episode
4. the variety of jutsus
5. the different characteristics of each village/person

Gotta disagree with you there; from where Naruto is NOW, it's getting worse and worse in my opinion.... At least for the anime, that is. The manga is just progressing along, as slow as it seems, so I'm alright with that. But the anime is just getting worse and worse, with each passing filler and each passing movie. Although I may still like Naruto, I didn't like it as much when I watched the first 100 episodes last summer, than I like it at which point it stands now, nearing episode 200.

Hmm...

I can never get into anime unless the characters interest me. I've watched a few where I felt the characters were cool but no one stood out and all of those animes I usually don't think about.

So for me, it's the characters. I like their relationships, their interactions, they're own feelings of self-worth, and piecing together if they have hidden motivation or not. Naruto has a large cast and surprisingly, each character is unique and interesting, and Kishi does a good job of fleshing them out. It's rare to have such a large cast and make each character special. I think he pulls it off rather well compared to most.

I also like the history and the universe the story is set in. Kishi also makes sure just about everyting has a history and background, making his universe both detailed and realistic.

I also love the character designs, as I think Kishi's style is very appealing. Some say the girls aren't pretty, but I think they're beautiful. And a certain Uchiha is teh smex factor. Hehe. No, not Itachi. lol.

The battles are interesting, and each character has their own fighting style. This is more entertaining and realistic, and I love watching certain characters fight the most like: Sasuke, Lee, Neji, and Kimimaru.

I also like Kishi's element of romance, which I believe he handles very well. ^^

And I think Naruto has good music! ^_^

And many of the themes protrayed in Naruto are touching, and certain scenes will bring tears to my eyes everytime I watch it.

It's a great story, the manga's awesome... and the anime was awesome until the recent fillers, but even then some of the fillers are pretty decent and enjoyable. ^^

yeah id agree, mostly the reason i like it is due to its characters and how they mix well together, their personality, feelings towards eachother, ect. i like that its all very interesting, not just based on one thing(like fighting), thers a lil love in it, fighting, kinda star wars turing dark ninja happening lol, makes u stay interested!
