"I wanna go to Japan"...right?
Well its a good thing you read up some brief stuff before hand. Even if you're 13, still read all this. it would prove useful to you when you're older and plan to go to Japan.
Also if ya wanna know about the national anthem, and other stuff check em. Best to know your stuff to survive XD All i can say is "to enter paradise, you pay the price" http://www.japanlinked.com/ http://thejapanfaq.com/ |

Re: "I wanna go to Japan"...right?
oh its perfect after you sort out all passport details and stuff
most countries do the same thing (90 days stay), so you cant expect Japan to be any different. |

Re: "I wanna go to Japan"...right?
I disagree Terri. Japan is terrible to foreigners. For one, they are called fucking gaijin. Now, I may be a little off on this, but I am sure that gaijin is a fairly derogatory term for foreigners. That country is not really open to non japanese people. There will deal with you, but only as much as they have to. (Unless you want to go to Kabukicho... They'll "deal" with you then
) Gaijin are not really liked down there, fuck, I've heard reports of the Gaijin barrier. On the subways people will often avoid sitting near a foreigner in fear that... Uh, I dont know, they will be anally raped.I guess Many other countries are the same. I live in canada so everyone is a fucking immigrant, the racism and close mindedness is far less up here than most places in the usa. (Not by much though) |

Re: "I wanna go to Japan"...right?
argh... if that's the case... i might as well go to other countries then... i was thnking of going to japan to work but...
i live in the philippines and we don't do that to foreigners. most of my people even wanted to be a foreigner... i dunno... its like, they idolize americans even how they dress. there are soooo many chinese here. there are also koreans, lebanese, others who go here to study cuz its cheaper and they even become... how do you call it... the star of the class... hahaha!!! well, maybe just visit japan then... |

Re: "I wanna go to Japan"...right?
Bah, do nto let it's racism discourage you. The general feel that Japan will give you is not very nice, but they are many many caring people who will give your race no thought. My sensei (A fairly large, white man) visited japan for a couple of years and met Nakajima, are very nice Japanese man who would soon be the sensei of my sensei.
Not EVERYONE in japan is like what I said, but that is the collective feeling you will get. Here is a picture of them. (My sensei is on the left)

Re: "I wanna go to Japan"...right?
lol dont get me wrong racism is in every country.
It depends where ya go too. Like if you go to Tokyo Shinjuku or or red light areas (where prosties are mainly around) you might find the "japanese only" sign. Thas cause some or most elderly have a fear of non-japanese speaking people, and so to save the hassle, they only allow those who speak it fluently or understand it well. i can say tho, that i find it sad, but in shinjuku there used to be alot of racism towards chinese, korean and filipinos. Why? I think it had something to do with the past or the world war. I was pretty young when that happened. I figure it out know and i wish i could protest about it. in my opinion as is msot people i know outside of tokyo, osaka and all those rich places, calling a foreigner "gaijin" or "alien" is pretty racist. Racist to the point where they will start hating Japan. But hey, we live in the 21st century. Younger people love "gaijin" and end up marrying them. which is why in okinawa we say "japan is starting to be champloo" meaning its starting to have a hybrid of cultures, nationalities and music. which it should be like that even japanese young men are liking black girls and filipinos . dont think japan is magical country and its different from all others, cause its not. fact is fact humans are all the same. there will be some racists, some anti-socialists, some emos, some "normal" people, gang riots etc etc. you'll only survive japan if you at least know some of the language, can read hiragana, katakana (maybe some kanji but not neccesary), give out a positive attitude so dont look angry all the time be happy , and er your tone of voice also. oh yeh and take lots of money with you, we're talking about a rich country ya know. and the beauty of the country will take place. hassle? yes but might be worth it in the ed. Greedy corporate leaders are pretty bad for peace, too. War is profitable as hell.
